Hot Take: Ban Doomsayers

Ok, this one piqued my interest

So you’re suggesting to shut down your critics?
You may find yourself a position in the government. They love shutting down anyone who criticizes them.

Idk i don’t think Blizzard ever said that Biden was Russia’s perfered US president. So, i mean they can’t be as bad or worse than Putin.

You keep saying this word. I do not think it means what you think it means

WoW should add the ability to “Sever” heads from bodies, every violent game needs a little decapitation.

I’d like to break down your reading comprehension.

You quoted that post. Please pinpoint where in that quote the OP used the word “criticize”, and then pinpoint where in that post the OP said “stop valid criticism”.

I’d also like to understand how you think the OP is trying to stop “their critics”.

Hey now, don’t you think you are asking for a little bit much from a stranger on the internet? i mean that is like A LOT of work.

True, probably unfair of me :frowning:

It’s okay i forgive you, i have made the same mistake, putting too much faith in people.

According to OP you should be banned.

Being passive-aggressive is a form of insulting and attacking.

Bit of a stretch.

That is what happens when people ask to ban others for things they disagree.

There is already the CoC which takes care of people that break the rules and it is somehow effective (you can get away if you insult just one person - it takes the post to be flagged for moderation to look, one person flagging they don’t even care, no matter what you say).

So, it went from the OP effectively saying “ban people who use offensive and incendiary language” to now “ban criticism” to now “ban passive aggressiveness” to now “when there is disagreement”.

I’m gonna go with

My sentiments exactly.

I didn’t find any motivation in myself and deleted the character at level 11. Absolutely uninteresting content for me.

I like how you toned down your passive-aggressiveness to being completely dismissive and ignoring the fact that by the terms of what OP defined it could get you banned as well.

Not only that, OP is also being passive-aggressive, just like you:

The OP is effectively claiming that people who make zero value angry posts that serve no other purpose than to personally attack developers should be banned.

That does not equal “silence criticism”.

The fact you’ve endeavored so strongly to strawman the OP (as have many others who do not appear to understand the difference) and have now latched onto passive aggressiveness is bewildering to me.

More Acid Reflux than Remix really…

So, go to Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, Reddit and anywhere else to do that?

I personally enjoy MoP Remix, but i don’t think these people need to be banned for speaking their mind, even if their over the top incendiary and just talking out their behind while insulting and attacking people. I can take my personal problem with them, criticize or even make fools of them, overall disagree with them, but it doesn’t mean they have to be silenced.

Everything can be criticized just like how everything can be praised, insulted, etc. It’s the nature of the beast of human nature. There’s bound to be people like that.

If anything, it does say more about the person who wants the opposition to be silenced, more then the opposition’s actions.

That and you wouldn’t get some amusing comments from people who hate the event, are giga-mad over people enjoying the event.

So who is to determine what is zero value, you? OP?

OP is just using this post to attack those that she disagrees with.
None of you are any sort of authority to determine what has value or not.
