Horrific Visions, the issue, and mis-information being told by your employees

A guild member and I ran a Horrific Vision a few days ago. We cleared one Corrupted Zone and one Lost Zone. We were at the boss of the second Corrupted Zone, received the pop-up box stating we were not in a group and was going to be teleported out of the vision in 59 seconds, then after a second, we were both teleported out back to the Chamber of Heart. We received nothing from the vision, lost our Vessel of Horrific Visions, both chests, and any mementos we may have received. We both put tickets in, and was told nothing could be done, but the issue was resolved. Today, the same guild memeber and myself once again ran another Horrific Vision. We killed one of the Lost Zone Boss, was on our way to kill the other Lost Zone boss and the EXACT same thing happened AFTER BEING TOLD THIS ISSUE WAS RESOLVED! So once again, the time we spent collecting Colescence for the Vessel of Horrific Visions, the time running the vision, and the possible loot we would have recieved, to include one, possibly two Torn Page of the Final Truth for my guild memeber. That is 2 pages completely lost, possibly 4 pages from both the times we were force removed. The only things we ask is to be compensated with 2 Vessels of Horrific Visions, and this issue to actually be fixed instead of being lied to by an employee who obviously has zero idea what is going on with the game.

Sorry, but current policy says Vessels cannot be refunded.

There are no devs here on the CS forums, and they don’t come here for player feedback. You’ll want to post in Bug Reports for QA to look at it.

Well you didnt complete the scenario 100% so no chests you gota complete it completly to recieve loot. A GM cant randomly generate loot for something you didnt earn what he shouldve done was tell you to report it as a bug so the Q&A team couldve looked at it.

I just got popped out back to back in solo runs with the burned bridge mask on. One after a rough pull, I don’t think I died, but have the self rez anyways. The second was the rats between a middle and hard zone killed my pet and boom, out. I submitted a ticket, but doubt Blizz will do anything. Real frustrating to lose 20k currency in 10 minutes…

I didn’t get kicked but Mathias Shaw in old town bugged out, after he stealthed he had 5-6x the hp he started with and his attacks hit 10x harder. I don’t want to report a bug as i want to have my vessel back or something but not sure how to go about it.

I’m sorry, Asphxia, but our Game Masters are unable to assist in this situation. If you believe you have encountered a bug, it needs to be reported so our QA team can look into it.

If such a bug is verified, our Support staff may receive policy updates that give them steps to help verify and resolve the issue, but until then, there isn’t much that can be done.

@Vrakthris I Can’t even submit a report! I’ve tried 3 times now and it keeps error’ing out.

Report it via the forums then thats always useful when the ingame bug report dont work.

I’m not sure why you wouldn’t. You can try disabling any addons you may be using to see if that helps.

I’d agree with Thundertotem though, try posting in the Bug Report forum. There may be a recent existing thread on the subject, which would help our QA staff by having multiple samples. If not, feel free to create a new thread yourself there.

I know it isn’t an immediate solution, and I am sorry for the frustration this may cause. Hopefully they can track down what is happening and get it resolved so it doesn’t happen again.

No you do not need to complete it. You get a chest for each boss you kill. If ouy kill one boss, you get one chest, if you kill all 5 bosses, you get 5 chest. I have been running and soloing these enough to know how they work.

If you feel you need a refund you will have to post in general where the developers will see it as it stands the policy is no refunds period.

This just happened to me and a ton of others on my shard. We all ported out to the chamber of the heart and we’re in shock as our vessel had just been wasted.

This is your fault bliz. You need to compensate for my wasted time.

You know, I can understand that kind of policy in the competitive run up with the new content and everything is working 98-99%. Errors are at a minimum but sometimes they happen and over time that will get spread out and there’s no way to put in a fix-system and be fair to everyone out there.

But you know now, the competition is over. And now people are ddossing the game on a somewhat regular basis. Keys are just rare enough that this is a pain in the butt but not so rare that it’s a red alert if one is replaced. intervention is more warranted now, with little damage to the game.

again to me on a 4 mask vision and I was on the last section and got the error not in group message and booted out… Ive been stuck in objects… feared by nothing into void zones… they dont care about compensation for players on any level and all we can do is wait for them to fix it with a "cross fingers " attitude. ive submitted bugs and made tickets but really… Another game is becoming more a reality just because other then the not so important fun stuff… losing the current content items and hours of game play to be told its fixed over and over … for it not to be and rinse and repete lol

I can appreciate that, Hieronymus, but there is nothing Customer Support can do in this situation. We have specific policies in place that govern our actions. A Game Master cannot replace a lost Horrific Vessel as the policy currently stands.

If you wish to see a change to that policy you’ll need to submit feedback to those that make and update the game as well as determine those policies. Posting in General Discussion, or joining an active discussion, is the best course of action in this situation.

This issue also happened to me at around the same time. I was in a solo Horrific Vision.

ty, yeah. I get it, things work how they work sometimes, history, tradition. I dislike reposting, you lose the trail of feedback, intelligence, and material in the existing thread. replication error, duplication of work. as a customer, it would be nice if things could get promoted from here, but as I’ve heard before, less common a thing, maybe less traction for some reason. I don’t know. anyway, it was just a conversation I felt I could comment on. … I’d be more quick to do that, repost, if I could reference threads, but I think that’s frowned on.
