Iām nearly exclusively horde. This is just my forum poster. As a horde player I recognize that we are doing better than Alliance sans the Oceanic region.
Iām objective, not some silly faction based fanboy.

Not to mention if we go by that site, US servers have more Alliance than Horde.
Which means both factions are able to be in merc mode just not at the same time. The person I was responding to made it seem like he thought Alliance arenāt allowed to use it, ever.
What he said is right, Alliance cannot queue as a merc right now. Idk how you got that he thought they never could out of that.

No, kalzhun. Itās nowhere near 47/53, and anyone who says that is just trying to discount valid alliance complaints.
If things were 50/50, with the extreme accessability of M+ and modern raids (3 difficulty settings with things only really getting difficult in heroic), the alliance would be more competative than they currently are by accident.
Also, the devs would have said something to the tune of āyour accusations are unfounded. The real population is [insert something close to 50/50].ā
Their silence tells us that itās nowhere close to 50/50. In fact they have relatively recently acknowledged the fact that the alliance is having serious problems that need to be fixed.
The problem is that when the time came to start fixing them, the devs looked at their horde characters, shed a tear for their favorite faction, and forgot where they left their spines.

itās almost as if the alliance who complained a long time ago, were actually horde who transferred to alliance to take advantage of racials.

Agree 100%. I quit doing BGs because of merc mode. Iāll try them again if Blizzard takes it out. Merc mode is a bandaid that is just making the population imbalance issues worse.

Alliance is just salty that the more mercs in a BG the better the chance of the alliance winningā¦

and many of the counted Alliance are Horde alts that are hardly played? or people who have abandoned their Alliance and rerolled Horde from scratch instead of paying the faction switch fees?
