From the moment the cutscene happened you have a choice when questing to not agree with Sylvanas’ actions. You are given a choice as a member of the horde, are you saying new players shouldn’t have that choice?
Meh, the fox was talking about the “Royal we”
And more so the leadership…then the everyday soliders…
There is no “royal we” when literally half of the story is half of the horde leadership disagreeing with the actions of Sylvanas. Baine spends half of the expansion in SW keep ffs.

I’m gonna try to remember this because I’ll join you since I find it funny.
I mean, you can like it or dislike it but the reality is no one from the horde is with Sylvanas now. The canon lore for this is the warchief was a big baddie and the horde as a whole ended up on the side of Saurfang/Baine/Thrall.
Again, you can dislike that all you want, but it’s the reality.
I’m not saying you’re wrong. Though I don’t remember this. I’m mostly on your side in this little debate.
However, I am pretty sure at no time my character had the choice not to participate in a ‘War of Aggression’ against the Alliance.
Granted, I only had to do the most egregious parts of this once, with one character, and could skip it afterwards. But once, was one time too many for me.

What do you think you were doing when you were helping Saurfang and Baine if not going against the rogue warchief?
So I guess now you all are the person you hated the most? Anduin is everyone’s surname now lol.

I’m right, and you know it. Stay mad, my mans.
What’s the point in the factions when you take away their identities in lore??? Now they are just red man and blue man with all races acting as humans. Orcs in fantasy are known as monsters in wow they are known as green and brown humans that are slightly bigger. Same goes for all the other races in the game with one exception and that is the forsaken and now they are changing the forsaken. This is one of the reasons I have started to like warhammer fantasy more than Warcraft. Why can’t some of these creatures act like they have all negative emotions or why can some act like they have all positive emotions. Where r the races that we as players can’t understand based on their decisions and no I’m not talking about straight bad writing.
The other races are an oversimplification, but the forsaken are a full retcon.
Maybe they’ll change the Blood Elf “death to all who oppose us” because it sounds too villainous, too.

This has been the case since vanilla. The horde were arguably at their most “misunderstood and secretly noble” with thrall at the helm.
I mean, has anyone read the novel that was released during classic about thrall’s origins? The way it’s written frames the horde to be the misunderstood and secretly noble baddies since the game’s inception. There has never been a time where the horde as a whole has been evil for evil’s sake. It’s always been nuanced and weird.

Finally doing the right thing. But it doesn’t change the fact that the Horde, including Baine and Saurfang followed Sylvanas on her war at the beginning.
“I was just following orders”, is a defense with poor precedent.
Nice, so you agree that canonically the horde came around, recognized their warchief was evil, and, using your words, “did the right thing.”
We’re in agreement then.
No. Thats the INTRO text for the races like when you roll a Night Elf at level one, you’re still in the tree…

Yes, I said, I mostly agree with you, in my 2nd post on this thread. But, and I’ll appreciate it if you don’t misquote me, I said, “Finally doing the right thing”. There was a good bit of ‘not’ doing the right thing before that.

It is a little edgy sounding. But not nearly as silly as that ‘Salami Salami Baloney’ thing you High Elves always say .
I mean I want the war to keep going, but only on this toon since I view him as a member of the Ebon Blade & not the alliance though. His slogan is “we can always use more DK’s”.
My horde main(also a DK) is appalled by what happened. All my druids hate what happened, my HM Tauren think’s Sylvanas is a warmonger, my Forsaken is sad for the NELF’s and was a follower of Sylvanas until she burned the tree, he ran from the war. My Mag’har warrior did his only little thing where he honored the innocents.
My Belf feels bad for the life Sylvanas had to endure, but think’s she went off the deep end last my Vulpera & Zandalari Troll have no idea that the Burning happened.
