Eh least we get covenant halls. I’m very curious what the venthyr one will look like. ^w^
Hope they don’t decide to throw it for another faction conflict next expac
This is what happens when you force the Alliance to transfer over to the Horde if they want to raid.
Now they’ve infected our faction with their decency.
/shrug
we’ll just have to wait and see
The Forsaken “you protect the living” thing makes sense. To me Forsaken saying “beware the living” meant “They will always despise you either to your face or to your back so be careful”
A lot of Forsaken wanted to just go see their family again and that triggered the heck out of Sylvanas
Also “protect the living” could just mean they protect the horde.
They always do this for every expansion.
They should have added to that.
After being tricked by the banished queen the forsaken are now blah, blah, blah, blah
Bah need more coffee i read jonas brothers…then again darn near the same…
yea the hatfield vs mccoy is getting old…
No less than ten people in this thread saying they are going to quit the game because blizzard isn’t telling new players about the burning of Teldrassil the moment they log into a horde character.
Very mentally stable and healthy community here on the forums.
They could keep it for PVP only and have it not apply in PVE. Rift did that and it worked really well at the time. With War Mode now being a thing tie it to War Mode as well.
lol
Can see the intro they want…you as a forsaken are Homocidal maniac and killed tens of thousands night elfs…into ash
Now we need you to go to a counselor and talk about your dead privilege
It really is, imo. It’s over-stayed its welcome and really only worked during a time when this game had over 10 million active players, which was over a decade ago now. These days all it’s done is cause story inconsistencies, faction imbalance, re-hashed narratives and a whole lot of complaining on the forums. But the Horde vs Alliance trope is all this game has ever known, and most of the community won’t have it any other way, despite it hurting the game in different ways.
It would be a step in the right direction, definitely.
The story became such a dumpster fire in BfA that retconning is pretty much required.
Horde in BfA: Mustache Twirling Villains of Ultimate Evil.
Alliance in BfA: Goody Goody Morons who couldn’t punch their way out of a wet paper sack.
With the exception of the Allied Races, was there anything worth keeping in from BfA?
Wait… what? Is this for real?
(blank look)
(explodes in laughter and falls on the floor rolling until… omg can’t breath… so funny)
Blizzard has truly outdone their own horrible writing with this. Next up - Jack the Ripper was really a champion of women’s rights.
Which is really funny because the Horde v. Alliance story technically ended in WC2. The entire point of Warcraft 3 was that they needed to stop fighting each other since there was always a larger threat.
Good point. Hadn’t considered that.
I do actually. What of it? Granted I haven’t seen anything since civil war.
I always found it funny the people who most vehemently seem to want to keep the war going also seem to know nothing about the backstory if they don’t think that the whole point was that it needed to stop.
Are you walking around free? Then they aren’t.
