Yes, I do. Because thats exactly what the Forsaken and the Horde did. If you join a faction, you should know everything they have ever done in the past not be protected just because Blizzard want to make the Horde appear “Good” just because someone new joins the game.
Relax. I’m not trying to imply they are. I didn’t think I understood what you wrote.
It’s an mmoRPG so we can easily assume any characters new or old can choose what parts of the story they got involved with.
So everyone associated with the horde was completely complicit and willing during the entirety of the circumstances surrounding the burning of Telrassil?
This is the dumbest way of thinking I have ever read.
Edit: You’re basically saying that a new player, 10 minutes into setting foot on Azeroth, should be told that they were complicit and supportive of the burning of Teldrassil because you’re mad about not liking BFA’s story.
It was a problem birth to be sure. Mama Darkspear told her mate she was true, and then 9 months after a trip to Tanaris she dropped out a litter of Sandfury. Papa Darkspear threw up his hands and went to Zandalar’s House of Fallen Tribes. Nine months later, the Dark Trolls were well on their way to recovery.
Meanwhile the Amani started wooing Night Elves. Both had a very angry night involving lots of cursing about the Blood Elves, but soon enough the Amani were also on the rebound. And that’s how we got a new troll.
Is it? Well, you can take that up with Blizzard. They had the Horde burn down Teldrassil, no one in the community asked for it. Just sounds like you’re mad because you don’t want your faction to be seen as the bad guys in this regard which they are and you want to erase it so people forget about it. Personally, I ain’t a fan of revisionism history. Blizzard made a bad call, they should own it, not try and erase it because someone might take offense to the Horde doing something evil again.
And on the other hand a new player who thinks “Yeah! Forsaken killing Elves thats cool!” and wants his character to have been complicit in it can do that as well. It’s the freedom to create our own story based on the lore we’re given and following it.
I’m guessing the don’t want the complete picture, like all of the dialogue options and choices that make it clear not everyone was okay with what Sylvanas was doing.
They also had a Horde leaders disagree and fight against the warchief who decided to do it, and there were many points along the way where you, the PC, could disagree with her choice via dialogue options.
Blizzard does not have to listen to what the community says with their story. Why the bloody hell should they? When did we become the people who dictated the stories? We’re free to dislike them and stop playing but it’s ridiculous to look at this from a real world perspective.
Every member of the horde personally burned down teldrassil? I missed the cutscene with baine lighting trees on fire and saurfang decapitating NE children. Can you you link that, please? Thanks!
This is bad writing 101. Blizzard is retconing a entire portion of a storyline because the community did not like it. Clearly we have power over their story. Their writers are so bad they are just deleting it because they can’t write themselves out of this.
You wouldn’t know good writing if it sat on your face. You’re just another parrot looking to find a reason to dislike WoW for some reason since your real life is likely miserable.
