Horde - Prepare for some TBC frustration

Thank you. I didn’t want to step on your toes.

A little bump for the lunch break.

They would have more if some of the PvP community would reroll Alliance.

No, they would have more if more of their carebears gave a damn about pvp. From my experience and it was 10 years straight on alliance side. There is nothing anyone can do to help that. That is why retail is messed up and blizzard pretty much abandon it. Classic didnt help it, TBCC hasnt neither and I am willing to bet my 401k plan that Wrath wont neither. People just hate the alliance mentality on a whole.

IF MORE OF THE PEOPLE WHO CARE ABOUT PVP WERE ON THE ALLIANCE SIDE IT WOULD RAISE THE OVERALL LEVEL OF ALLIANCE PVP PARTICIPATION. I don’t even see how this is a controversial statement. Logically, in a team based game, it makes sense that if everybody stacks on one side, you’re going to have to wait to do some of the team based objectives.

But instead of rerolling Alliance, or even asking for faction transfers, you want to propose a solution that will essentially put the nail in the coffin for Alliance as a competitive faction, and you’re amazed that you get pushback on this idea.

It wouldn’t matter. Take a look at ironforge dot pro. 54:46 H:A overall, on NA PvP and PvE realms combined.

PvP realms: 60:40 H:A. That’s just insane. You people drove Alliance away during P2 and are now reaping what you sow really.

I’m doing my part and went Alliance for TBC, but I’m stuck in 45 minutes AV turtle games so I can’t queue faster to let your people in faster.

Until they add faction changes, enjoy your queues. Mercenary mode is not coming.

Where you drop on your orc head when you were just a toddler?

Someone posted overall numbers (and yes, I am still waiting to get an official number from blizzard but that is likely never to happen) throughout all servers… cuz you know bgs are xrealm. There were 46% alliance and 54% horde. Can you explain to me why we have 1 hour queues? if the numbers arent that bad? if they were 80/20 now, I could see a real reason to say “lets have faction change”. Do you get what I’m trying to say?

Once again… please read this alone with me… “BGS ARE XREALM”. If the numbers from ironforge dot pro are correct. The queues shouldn’t be as bad as they are…

I was alliance for classic and we had a vote… to stay alliance and xfer to a pve realm or switch to horde. Leaving behind toons we work hard on since day 1 of classic. Alliance drove us away, it wasnt the horde.

You really don’t get it?

We’re talking about PvP right? Now, I can’t prove this, but I’m going to guess that a fairly small number of people on PvE servers want to PvP on anything near a consistent basis. I think we can agree on this. We also know from ironforge pro that most PvE servers are Alliance dominat, right?
So, IMO, we can pretty much leave those servers out of the equation. Now, lets look at the PvP servers. Last I checked, PvP servers were 40/60 Alliance/Horde. This would account for some of the disparity, but you’re right, queues wouldn’t be over an hour. Then what is it? Could it be that ALL THE PEOPLE WHO PLAY PVP AS THEIR MAIN PART OF THIS GAME HAVE ALL STACKED ON ONE SIDE? Lets just say, for arguments sake, that this is the case. Wouldn’t it also make sense that THAT SIDE WOULD HAVE TO WAIT TO PARTICIPATE IN FACTION BASED GAMEPLAY? I’d say this makes sense. So, if more of the people who play PvP as their main part of the game were on the other side, wouldn’t that make the decrease the wait time for faction based gameplay? Please explain to me where the logic is wrong here.

You see thats were you are dead wrong. You can’t leave PvE servers out of the equation. Many and I mean many pvprs went to PvE realms. We thought it about it as a guild. Pvprs started to talk about the advantages to pve realms over pvp and the major one was farming in peace. There were no cons for pvprs because of xrealm bgs.

You can’t just take numbers from PvP servers alone. If alliance that stayed on alliance simply for pvp didnt wise up and switch to a pve server. That’s their own fault. Look for a healthy number of alliance side pvp and stick to that one. but staying in current highly outnumber ones just was crazy. Herod is dead on alliance side. I xfered my mage to netherwing and the alliance are on there are pretty damn active in pvp.

We just can’t help alliance cuz far too many of them dont care about pvp.

What does this even mean? Did Alliance grab their pitchforks and chase you out?

Have you ever pug bgs on alliance side? I will leave it at that.

Yea, still worth over 1 hr queues.

actually yes, for my sanity. They are… I got more triggered by alliance players it was so infuriating. I’m glad I switched.

I still think it’s great that you and your guild FOTM rerolled for TBC and are now surprised you have hour long bg queues.

:grimacing:

Oh, look its mr. dumbass.

We were not surprised. As I knew the prepatch low numbers would end soon enough. but I am of you and how hard it is to read and generate some type of sensible material.

You are still so incredibly angry.

You call me stupid, but you used your boost on a horde toon in a massively horde overpopulated game in a massively horde tilted xpac.

Lawl

Enjoy your queue times little angry guy!

I’m not angry… I just hate you that much.

I’m actually having a ball. I went 14-5 with queue up arenas with a ret pally friend that hardly step foot in arenas. And with my free time, I’m leveling this mage.

Honestly, toxic name callers like you are definitely more at home horde side.

You are definitely angry btw. You have been raging all over the forums for the past couple weeks.

Little angry FOTM reroller who made the problem worse by going horde.

All the way through rank 12, yes. Alliance pugs are no different than horde pugs. Sometimes you get a good group, sometimes you don’t. We’re all WoW nerds.
