I’m not saying it doesnt happen on horde side. But I can speak of alliance experience and it was never great nor fun. I have 2 char’s to rank 12. =P
Sorry, I will add that horde deal with it less because they sit in longer queues. You probably have notice this… cuz it drove me insane. But seeing so many afkr’s in bgs especially AV was annoying and when you called them out on it… “so what, just queue up again” were some of the asinine responses.
It’s still 55:45 (if we round it). That’s still 10k more Horde than Alliance.
If we only take PvP realms in consideration (assuming that no one on PvE realm want to PvP, both Horde and Alliance), that’s 60:40. Crossrealm, there’s 20% more Horde than Alliance. Of course you’ll get queues. If there are 4000 of us queuing, there will be 2000 of you waiting.
Sure you will. You can’t help yourself. You have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about when it comes to this game, and just make a bunch of angry profanity laced rage posts because you made a bad decision and rerolled horde.
You can’t leave out PvE realms. A LOT OF ALLIANCE PVPrs went to pve realms for tbcc. That’s why you see alot of regular realms almost dead of alliance. They either moved to a pve realm or high alliance pop pvp realm.
Are they people who engage in PvP as their primary objective in the game? Are they they types of people who are chain queueing BGs? Do you think they make up more than a fourth of the players on any given PvE server?
But clearly you don’t get it. You’re talking about total populations. I’m talking about the population of players who actually want to make PvP their primary focus in the game. The total number of players doesn’t count as far as your queues go. It’s all about how many people want to chain queue BGs. Right now, the vast majority of the people who enjoy that style of gameplay are Horde, and that’s the problem.
You’re probably right, but even if we include all realms there are still more Horde than Alliance overall.
And I can promise you a good chunk of people on those alliance PvE realms do not care at all about PvP or BGs. Including those realms changes nothing.
You can see I’m posting on a 60 Horde toon that I played a bit. I re-rolled Alliance for TBC (on a PvP realm) JUST for the fast queues. No other reason. I would have loved to keep playing my UD lock but alas we can’t have everything
Oh, I get you… if you notice I posted on my alliance mage currently lv67 a couple of times. Which I might end up playing more because at the end of the day. I love to pvp… but who knows. I just want a healthy outcome for everyone.
I had fun pugging bgs. I got some really bad games occasionally, but I got some really good games as well. I also saw a lot of great wPvP on my server. If horde had BRM on lockdown, alliance would rally to get it back or vice versa. We had some great battles at LHC as well. Playing alliance may have been a bad experience for you, but not everyone looks down on the faction. It can be a lot of fun and still have instant bg queues.
True, I can agree to that. My experience is just mine, but I spend far too much time in game (i have many alts) and can bg all day long. So, im expose to that player base more often then anything else. maybe if I didnt play as much my experience would’ve been better.
I don’t think so. Very few horde would choose instant queues over having an edge in pvp. My guess is they would all think “other horde will make the switch so I don’t have to”… and what you’d get is the same queue times.
If blizzard really wanted to fix the horde queues, they should buff alliance pvp racials
