Yep, queuing to get a healing mace for my dungeon leveling shaman, then I will queue during AV weekend to build up some honor.

Then I will get my 20 eye of the storm marks, and then never queue for a battle ground again. I can’t wait.

Dont worry horde, after i get my welfare epic s1 gear i’ll still do random bgs. I wont be making it easy on you though. I play wsg for fun, seeing whom i may blow up with my pom arcane power silver crescent trink berserking pyroblast, horde druid flag carriers are gonna love me.

I think i might do some pve too bsides just the random heroics for the badges for the silver crescent trinket, i would like to get a set of haste gear too. Haste sounds gimicky just to make your spells go faster, but a lot of you might not know this already, but haste actually decreases your global cooldown, so when a priest hits me with their infusion ability i can spam arcane explosion faster, by a lot. normally it feels like there’s a 1.5 sec window between ability to arcane explosion, with priest infusion which i believe is 30% haste it’s more like 1 Arcane explosion every .5 sec.

Horde BG’s queues are very long, pvp gear is better than pve.

dude vast majority DGAF about pvp racials lol, 80% of players just pve anyway. look at all the Thunderfury chars without Scout title
horde is just the preferred faction , u cant make people play 50/50 no matter how much you cry.

end of the day it’s cringe hopping in stormwind and seeing 100s of identical qt female chars all played by bald dudes

and yes ally will dominate bgs simply due to gearing faster with instant queues, happens on every tbc p.server. Both factions are leech-city but even if u lost all ur games ally still gears faster due to 24/7 insta queues

Everyone knew BG queue times would be boned for TBC due to everyone playing horde, luckily arena is where the pvp is really at.

There will be a mountain of threads begging Blizzard to allow Horde vs. Horde battlegrounds, or suggesting that Alliance get triple honor to incentivize queueing.

giving one side triple honor will only cause the problem to grow, since the few people who would be queueing will be in and out even faster than before. the only way i can see blizzard solving this problem is by allowing doing horde vs horde bgs, which is something they dont even allow in retail yet (unless you want to count mercenary queues, which are a bit different). with bgs being such a big part of tbc, its a problem that needs to be solved, but there isnt really a good way to do so.

Could it be possible that a lot of alliance are leveling alts and or shamans? I mean a lot of pve mages and warriors got to re roll to the new meta of hunter and warlock. Also I think EoTs Bg will bring lots of people back to pvp as well. I’m not to worried I believe things will be fine.

The boost had nothing to do with this trend. The majority of the Alliance that are going to Horde for TBC are doing so for Blood Elves and you cannot boost those.

Really, you don’t think the fact that you can instantly have a Horde 58, rather than leveling from 1 at the cost of several days and/or a lot of gold, contributes to people rerolling Horde?

I agree about the cringe part and I play alliance on classic lmao idk why guys can’t just play male characters. I THINK I’ve seen more male characters in classic than in retail though so there’s that. Oh, and let’s not forget Horde has that same cringe with all the guys playing female belf.
