I made my pvp toon a night elf druid for this very reason
I think the best solution is to do what they did to pally seals, to racials. Make all racials available to everyone and you can pick one and one only. The ONLY reason anyone goes horde is for the juicy racials. Theyâve already butchered no changes anyway, lol.
I think disabling racials in arena would be a better change, but it is far too late. The community already exists predominantly on the Horde, and theyâll have no reason to move back to Alliance, so the net gain is⌠nothing.
People will be clamoring for all of these in a couple months, yep.
Source? Source? Source? Source? Source? Source? Source? Source? Source?
⌠good grief people and this b.s. question all the time. Log into your darn servers and OBSERVE what is happening. The same thing that happened when TBC originally launched. The same thing that everybody with half a brain already knew was going to happen. BE and Draenai are the new thing. Those are what people are rolling. And I have met entirely too many people over the years that have said the only reason they started playing Horde was because of Blood Elves, and the lack of them is why they played Alliance in Classic.
I did specifically say I donât think it has a place in TBC classic, but should be implemented in retail though.
I was in Tarren Mill today and saw a TON of levelers and less than half were Blood Elves. Orc Hunters, Tauren Warriors, tons of Orc Warlocks, a few Tauren Druids, two Orc shaman. Sure there were a load of Blood Elves too, no doubt. But Iâd say less than half. Obviously this is purely anecdotal. This isnât a scientific measure. But no, I do not believe every single person rolling or boosting Horde during the prepatch is making a Blood Elf. I categorically deny that claim.
Itâs not going to make a difference. Evening the playing field in retail didnât work either. Not even adding incentives did.
You are right and I bet the seal trade is all Blizzard was ever going to do about it. Horde already had atrocious queues in classic while being the inferior side. Itâs not going to get any better now that alliance has to share its paladins. Horde racials are pretty irrelevant in BGs but not the arena. Our BGs will thus be made to suffer because of people wanting to optimize racials for arenas. Blizzard will never give us horde vs horde BGs; so I see no real solution.
Iâd be more tempted to reroll alliance to help the situation if I didnât like my faction so much. But I was already on horde with 5 60s in classic. Iâm not some BC reroll. If (when) AV queue goes back to 2 hours again; Iâm not swallowing any blame for it.
Boosting was yet another wasted opportunity to help realm populations. They could have limited boosting to the smaller faction per realm, but once again⌠they just willy nilly the feature so more people used it to bandwagon over to horde. I know this for a fact because horde BGs are FULL of boosters. Iâm almost never see them in enemy ranks. This should be a big warning sign of things to come.
Yes but you talking about racials in main post. The reason horde que time are so long is because of them. I already linked what you put.
I know itâs about que when is it not about ques when it comes to horde. This is not new this has always been an issue one that blizzard has tried to fix multiple times.
Iâve seen like 8 post like this today.
We get it horde is mad about an issue thatâs been going on since 2004
I main horde bro
It is about to get worse. Much worse than classic. Arena donât care what faction you are on.
Nobody will care after they get their honor set in S1.
Just play PvE and choose a different game for PvP. PvP has always been a joke in WoW.
Nobody said âeverybody.â Too many people in these discussions are taking generalities and âwhat seems like mostâ as literal.
A great many on several servers I play on are rolling lots and lots of Blood Elves.
However⌠I bet half of them are just visiting and will be gone in 1-3 months.
We just have to wait and see what blizzard will do to try and fix the issue. Ques are fine now, but yes when they get super bad blizzard might step in and fix it.
Quality > quantity.
The funny thing is Alliance racials are solid for pvp. Iâd trade my Undead Disc Priest for a Dwarf Disc Priest in an instant if Faction Transfers were a thing. And I love perception on my Paladin, especially once the engi goggles go live in a later phase.
Stoneform not breaking Blind is a huge nerf.
I donât think they can. Incentives for Alliance have failed to have an appreciable impact in the past. Horde vs. Horde battlegrounds are not in the spirit of World of Warcraft. The Horde will just have to accept that the price they are paying for the Will of the Forsaken that wonât break them out of the 1500 bracket anyway is going to be 2+ hour queues into Alliance premades. A price that they are going to complain about paying shortly. But thatâs the toll.
Lol again buddy Iâve played horde all of wow 1.11 till mid BFA I know the incentives have failed.
If youâre worried about ques go alliance.
All youâre posting is stuff I already know.
Again we have to see if blizzard implements a fixâŚI would do mercenary mode. Or maybe they just open pvp up to be horde vs horde.
Again this is an issue thatâs been in game for ages. Itâs not new Buddy.
You are getting nowhere typing to me and Iâm getting nowhere typing to you.
Boi I agree with you I donât disagree.
How else can I spell that out for you XD
