So you do not believe anyone rerolling Horde for TBC has used the boost? Not a single player? Is that truly your contention? I just want to be clear on your delusion.
And, as expected, you are now strawmanning! Great job! Now talk about slippery slopes and I can complete my forum bingo card for today!
Well saying all alli are rerolling says itâs partly about racials.
If even a single player rerolled from Alliance to Horde for TBC using the boost then yes, the boost contributed. Just one proves my contention. Obviously, itâs more than one but neither of us have those numbers.
I never said âAll ally are rerollingâ. In fact, I said Alliance has a healthy population. Iâm saying there is an obvious exodus of Alliance PvPers to the Horde.
But people just want to argue about boosts and racials in a thread about queue times. I donât understand.
Factions are such an outdated system, in retail they should just essentially remove it entirely, dumb to split you player base and not allow cross faction play. But since this is TBC, we are gonna have to deal with everyone playing horde, just like every xpac so far
Well⌠not everyone.
But I predict even lower PvE participation for Alliance.
If that is how you think this works. More power to you. I will just slot you into the âThe boost is to blame for everythingâ category.
Donât blame me, I made a dwarf priest.
Thank you for your sacrifice
âŚso itâs not about racials?
Lmfao
The exodus? 90%. This thread? No.
So you trolling then? Cause this seems like s-posting to me.
A discussion about rising Horde queue times for BGs is âs$@#postingâ?
Letâs just all be pandas, and be neutral
OCE queue times at 7pm AEST last night,
Horde: AV 35 mins, WSG 34 mins, AB 30 mins
Alliance: AV 3 mins, WSG <1 min, AB 1 min
You the one who started going on about how horde racials are superior and how itâs created mass exodus.
I just made one simple and logical reply.
Then you kept copy pasta me with silly reply.
This already happened in retail over the course of a few expansions, and it took multiple horde racials nerfs before they were finally balanced. By the time they finally accomplished their goal of balancing the racials, horde had engulfed the vast majority of hardcore raiders, and now most hardcore players are horde despite the slight advantages alliance racials have in PvE.
Paladins and the lack of Blood Elves (the most popular race in the game) were the two key pieces preventing classic from being a horde dominated game off the bat. It doesnât take a rocket scientist or a bunch of proven statistics to predict whatâs gonna happen as BC progresses now that those are on the table.
Boosts may make this happen faster than it would have naturally, but it was always going to happen.
But didnât you hear, the boost is to blame for not having pandas in TBC too.
Iâm sorry good sir but it fells like you be trolling.
It seemed reasonable to me to open the discussion with a background as to why itâs occurring. Itâs occurring because of a perceived superiority of Horde PvP racials. Itâs funny, because I have been posting that I actually think Alliance racials are pretty good and that Horde racials are overrated - that the hypermajority of people rerolling Horde for their racials are not going to significantly benefit from them. Hell, I even put that in the original post when I quipped that hard-stuck Alliance team wouldnât magically gain rating by switching. The ultimate impact of Horde racials is only super apparent at the top 0.1% of play and yet the 99% of people below that level are slavishly rerolling because of that peak.
Hereâs a recent post I made arguing why I chose NE Restokin over Tauren for TBC:
But no, ultimately, this thread is not about racials or about boosts. Itâs about queues. Itâs about queue times that are about to get astronomical. Itâs about the impending crisis of posts on this forums demanding Blizzard act. I really just wanted to write the post so I can link it in July on every post crying about queue times.
