Horde morale is low

Look, can;t we all just agree that Nakhu should be the next Warchief and that will make everyone forgive Blizzard and usher in a new golden age of greatness for the Horde and the handful of Alliance he let’s live?

…and just when I thought I couldn’t want the “Jaina kills Thrall” leak to be true more than I already did.

I think the obvious solution to ALL of this Horde nonsense, is for Sylvanas to ressurect the one person she never should, thinking he’d be useful against the Alliance. Edwin VanCleef. But VanCleef is NO ONE’S lap dog, ganks her, she scurries off to hide and lick her wounds, Forsaken have a new leader and Zappy can step in as interim warchief while Sylvie broods from the shadows. Done.

I hope the next Warchief is the last for a while. We’ve had Thrall, Garrosh, Vol’jin, Sylvanas, and now it looks like we’re gearing up to have another change. It’s a little exhausting, tbh. Going to start wondering if the Warchief’s throne is cursed to make those who sit upon it impossibly stupid and aggressive or completely incapable of doing anything or something.

OK so a tie between my mage, warlock and rogue? Time to fire up the roulette, one of those is an alliance char so I even get to tick off OP = win win

The Azerite grindings will continue until morale improves.

Still thinking it would be amazing is if the entire reason for this EXPAC is to set up a third faction of Undeath.

We realize too late that Sylvanas have been raising champions into undeath throughout this entire war, both Horde and Alliance, and she breaks off from the Horde now that she has built her own army.

You would be able to create an undead version of any race-class combo to join her third faction. BUT, you could also, as a CHOICE, embark on an epic questline that would result in the DEATH of your current character, who would be raised into the new faction (instead of having to pay for a faction change).

You know, that would actually be pretty incredible. Perhaps it could happen! I suppose we’ll see. The idea of a third faction does fascinate me…and maybe they’d finally be able to do an evil faction without forcing that stuff down the throats of the Horde.

This would absolutely rule - though that could just be my VanCleef bias showing. I think his particular anti-Stormwind views would be a really cool influence on the Forsaken.

Exactly: for Sylvanas fans or just play antagonist-loving characters, the undead faction could be the nefarious evil-dooers in the world. Horde and Alliance could both then become the “morally-grey” factions, who are ‘good’ or ‘bad’ depending on perspective, while the Undead would truly be the ‘bad guys’.

Or, another (among many) way to look at it…

Alliance: do what they must to retain power
Horde: do what they must to survive
Undead: do what they must to secure power

Even better than that video of a Blizzard dev slapping that kid at Blizzcon.

Honest question here: Is there really a large enough undead fan base to warrant a third faction?

Forsaken are about as popular as Draenei, by looking at played, so I doubt it.

Is there really a Horde fan base big enough to warrant the Horde being playable?

Also kind of an honest question.

There’s no numbers to point to for that.

But consistently, I would say there is more of a Horde fanbase than there is an Alliance fanbase.
