Let me preface by saying I’m not a super hardcore raider or anything, I don’t expect to raid 7 days a week or anything, but my main character (on horde side) is reaching a point where I can’t gear any further outside of raids or M+ and I want to start raiding H Nathria with a group.
The thing is (due to the population on MG) I’m having a very hard time finding a raiding guild, at best I’ve seen notices for very casual raid guilds that raid once or twice a week for 2 hours or so, this is fine, but it’s not really for me I want a more “mediumcore” raiding setup, say something like 3-4 days a week for at least 3 hours (3-4 works great for my schedule) but this seems almost impossible to find? am I just looking at biting the bullet here and transferring to wyrmrest? if I can even do that at all? idk how transfer rules work as I never done it.

Depends on what you’re looking to accomplish. Most guilds here that do AOTC raid 2 nights a week and have no problem achieving their goals. I know there are a few guilds that push into mythic each tier, I’m not sure if they raid 2 or 3 nights a week. Try checking raider io and see where all the guilds are in progress currently then reach out to their officers if you find any that look promising.

All that said, if Moon Guard just doesn’t feel right, don’t be afraid to take a leap! I hope you find a team here though!

Popping back in to clarify that Next Pull has recently reformed as Words Are Hard. Same people, same atmosphere, just fresh start.

Ya’ll are great. I’ll definitely be looking into these options, and I know 2 days a week is enough to progress; I’ve just always enjoyed 3-4 days raiding just to get more time with the raid, it’s a lot of fun for me and I like making progress steps more than just twice a week, but I’ll see what’s available!

Our core has been on MG horde since BC/Wrath (some one, some the other) and we can’t imagine playing anywhere else.
