When did I say I joined a raid? I was solo the whole time outside of asking for hearthstones from warlocks when I ran out. From what I have seen at least the Alliance side outside of the first week of 8.1 raids don’t form too often and people make 5 man groups for farming honor.
I know there are still people on both factions that make raids to farm flight points but they are not common.

While you are correct, in a raid you can easily rake up 100’s of kills in an hour, while solo you can maybe get one or two dozen.
Still, honor points are kindof worthless imo. I just do it cause it’s fun.

Lol, you sound pretty out of touch then because I can assure you the FP farming thing is not uncommon at all, as evidenced by the multiple threads about it…
Again, think about what you’re saying, if you have to farm 10 to 16x as much, that’s actually far less likely to happen because if you’re in a raid the chances of you meeting a bigger one is pretty decent. Plus it’s not fun, the only time it would actually approach being efficient is if you’re just steamrolling random non-grouped players at such a clip and honestly how would that not get boring after about 15 minutes?
I wouldn’t say it’s exaggerating too much. Their bubbles allow their healers to heal them to full health (with the only catch being that one of the bubbles is only for physical damage) and their lay on hands heals them full. Add having most often two charges of an ability that makes them impossible to root or stun that allows them to run to their back lines whenever they want and you have a character that probably won’t die unless focused.
The benefit being that more often than not they slap like fish, but since warmode battles between large groups are more likely battles of attrition than numbers they certainly help.
You would think that with belves being one of the most popular horde factions that belf paladins would show up but they really don’t show up in the same numbers.
I’m aware of their benefits, but when they use Lay on Hands it locks them out of using Divine Protection for 5 or 10 minutes, I forget which, and vice versa. So it’s not like they can just chain them.
Theres no way lmao their servers can barely handle 100+ on the screen at one time before imploding on itself.

Yea I get it. But when you’re solo you are getting kills at a much slower rate. Most your kills are going to be from duels. You have to pick your targets a lot smarter. You are going to kill much slower then in a raid.
In a raid, your targets tend to just melt, and you even get credit for targets you didn’t even touch as long as you were near. It’s pretty easy to get 10x as many kills when in a raid then when solo.
But still, honor points are worthless, but if that’s really what you’re concerned about, bgs are far more efficient then world pvp anyway.
For what it’s worth, I always have WM on, even before 8.1, and I’m solo more often then I’m in a raid, but I do do both. And fun is subjective, but right now there’s nothing else to do in WoW so by far the most fun for me in WoW right now is joining Crpytid and killing Horde.

Slower only if you’re bad…
I sincerely doubt you are getting kills with the efficiency you claim, unless you are just trailing behind the horde raid and sponging kill that way.
Never claimed anything other than anyone who claims farming honor in raids is efficient is simply wrong.

World PVP in general is an inefficient way to farm honor. That’s not why people do world pvp.
Is that baseline or by talent? And if by talent what is the trade-off?
Some classes can’t 1v1 certain other ones, i sure as hell can’t kill a demon hunter and rogue 1v1 unless they’re horrible. Im sure a DK can’t kill a frost mage
Its Baseline
The talent choice you’re probably thinking about is the one that shortens the cooldowns by 33%
Oh wow you’re right. Just logged into my 110 ret paladin to double check that. Ok, my bad, carry on with the Pally Bashing then lol.

I was going to say … there are a ton of Alliance paladins out there, half of whom are high elves who are somehow flagged for the wrong faction.

I’ve done my share of flight point camping, and flight point camping is pretty common, but using raids to do it is not common. When I do it, I’m usually in a five man. We’re often joined by other groups and individuals, so it may look like a raid, but it’s not.
The only time I’ve seen raids camping flight points, they were camping Horde bases where they needed a raid to withstand the guard spawn - and I’ve only seen that twice since BFA released.
Also, regarding honor efficiency in raids, there are times, such as during prepatch Darkshore, where there are enough raids wandering around that raid v raid happens frequently, and because everyone is in a raid going solo isn’t going to get you any kills. I haven’t seen that since BFA launched, though.

I’m glad you think your anecdotal experience somehow means something here. Besides, it really doesn’t matter if it’s 5 or 40, the effect is probably going to be the same anyhow.
