Horde BG que times

So were already at 13-17mins, in TBC some claim that it will be near the 30min mark as horde. Is blizzard going to do something to fix this or should we just be rerolling if we do not want to spend half our time in ques not playing?

Queue times are going to be very long Horde-side, it’s just the nature of the beast that people are going to have to live with if they want to PvP as Horde. On the plus side, Arena is cross faction, and you’ll probably be facing more Horde teams due to the population being larger. Since Horde will all be in the same boat, the longer period of time to get offset pieces will just be something needed to be accepted. Organized Alliance PvPers will absolutely be at an advantage, which just comes with being the lesser played faction.

BG heroes will be better off going Alliance though. I’ll only be PvPing on my Horde main (this shaman), the rest of my PvP-oriented characters are Alliance for this very reason.

Blizzard announced they will be doing a forced faction change to anyone complaining about it on the forums.

I wonder how much this will switch in Wrath. I keep seeing people say Human racial is best in that expansion.

Likely all the mass rerolls will still deny racials are unbalanced and a cause for a lot of population discrepancies.

The perception that they are superior is because, largely, they are. Alliance have potent, but more situational racials that are much better in TBC than they were in vanilla, but they’re still not the same.

Mercenary mode would be great, imo. But still, for now…play alliance or deal with it. We are the best faction. Take the good with the bad.

So are Horde racials. It’s just the Alliance racials got a lot better - mostly. Stoneform was nerfed pretty hard.

BG queues are horrible

I choose NE Restokin over Tauren literally any day. Warstomp just DRs with my rogue’s stuns anyway. I love Shadowmeld Drinking. It’s literally game winning. More often than Warstomp for sure. I have 3 extra levels of stealth in catform. And the smaller hitbox is lovely. A Tauren Warrior can’t crit me for 3k through a pillar on my Night Elf. Sap bug sucks, but it’s not as prevalent in TBC because of the absence of Shadow Dance.

Human Mage/Lock/Priest will be a very dominant 3vs3 comp and 100% gladiator viable. Gnome warriors are very good, too. Especially in 2vs2 where their healer might not have a magic dispel (Rshaman/Rdruid).

Not to say that Horde racials aren’t better. They are - objectively. But Human and Gnome have strong options and NE druid is absolutely the better PvP option. No question.
