Horde 8.1.5 war campaign part 1

Does not say kill our own if you need too.

Commiting crimes. Nathanos is not a mind reader he cant see the future or possibly know what Baine would do.

Honestly who would expect Baine to murder Horde members? No one its very shocking for him to do so.

Did Baine think none of the Forsaken that apparently escapes would report back to their leadership what transpired?

What’s really going on here?

The difference between orcs and forsaken. Orcs kill their own for being stupid and it’s with honor. Forsaken kill their own and they are monsters. It’s a cold world for the horde.

Go, we will not kill you if you surrender. I TRUST YOU WONT SAY ANYTHING To… he is gone. I am sure he will not do anything dishonorable!

Uh no it’s not. The second he did that scene where he met derek everyone should have known this was coming.

Then you haven’t been paying attention to Baine’s characterization at all.

Proudmoores are the most important thing in the world to him.

I decided to watch the video in full, did he really just say “She has gone too far this time, there are lines that the Horde will not cross”:joy::rofl::joy::rofl::joy::rofl::joy::rofl::joy:

It’s a false flag. Wraithu baited Baine into growing a spine, thus using him to deliver Derek in a way that would seem less suspicious than if he just sorta showed up outside Boralus one day.

It doesn’t work, because Jaina is Too Smart For That, but it’s the kind of 3d chess she does.

Growing a spine for whom tho, I’m reading these quest now and that stuff in them is appalling.

“We must take him and bring him back to his family”

Even if I was a part of the “muh stoopid conditional honor” crowd I wouldn’t want to risk life and limb to appease Jaina and the Proodmoores. What drugs is this guy on?

Nathanos and Sylvanas dont have meta knowledge.

Baine killing Horde members is not something Nathanos or Sylvanas would expect or could plan on. Its not in his character hell he gave Sylvanas crap for leaving Saurfang to die even though it wasn’t her choice.

I’m going to reiterate that Proudmoores are the most important thing in the world to Baine.

It was probably changed as a result of people’s reactions to him killing Horde members, except he still does it anyway and it also makes no sense in context.

Yeah not the Tauren or Mayla or the Horde. Stop being facetious.

Look, giving them all due credit, this is supposed to read as Baine finally being pushed to his breaking point, where he’s disgusted enough with what’s going on that yes, he’s willing to kill other Horde members if they don’t stand down.

It’s just that, because of how consistently his priorities have been expressed this way, it just seems like he cares more about Alliance lives than Horde ones.

Sylvanas! The tree was one thing, no one liked those elves, but brainwashing forsaken?! How dare you! I will become the new forsaken leader. They will call me the Cowking! What’s that strange portal opening?

Fair enough on them not having meta knowledge, but what did they think he would do? Kindly ask them to leave? This is the horde VICTORY OR DEATH. Hell he doesn’t even kill everyone as most of the crew just runs off. The only ones who fight to the death are the sylvanas loyalists.

Vol’jin had no issues killing garrosh loyalists in MOP. Just saying.

How many Tauren died because he decided to warn Jaina about the army marching on Theramore?

And characters in game are supposed to know this how? Nathanos and Sylvanas are not mind readers they couldnt know he would go so far as to kill Horde members.

Sure they may have entertained he would try to free Proudmoore but not that he would go as far as murder.

Set the ship on fire and free him as the crew rushes to put it out.

Blow a hole in the ship and free him in the confusion.

Sound an alarm and when the crew goes to attack the “Alliance” break in and get him.

Baine even says he didn’t need the keys that he could bend the bars so killing the captain, mage, and crew was unnecessary.

He did that because the Horde would have slaughtered the Alliance easily and he wanted to give them time to evacuate. He expected an immediate attack he didn’t know Garrosh would wait and that the reinforcements would flood the city cost him many Tauren braves.

Its not the same as murder with your own hands.

I lol’d. That alone got you my like.

Ditching the war campaign is still looking like the best WoW-related decision I’ve ever made.

I haven’t watched the whole thing, but why does he send you to get the keys then? Either way I doubt the jailer was going to leave his post. Some forsaken were going to die.

Either way Nathanos would not care. If baine didn’t kill anyone or planned to purge the ship I doubt Nathanos do whatever it takes and make sure they suffer Blightcaller would be like, no wait don’t kill forsaken! It’d be more like, how unfortunate for them, but we uncovered a traitor.

i am a little jealous that the horde can have player choice, but to be honests… i am not sure if i want that kinda of choice…
so far i have been enjoying the war campaign. but it sucks that the horde side is… this. i really have no desire to play my horde alts.
