Honestly, I'd trade it all

I would love a tinker class:

Tank - mech suit (choose between riding in suit or using mech as a pet tank)

Ranged - dwarven mortar team inspired

Melee - goblin sapper inspired aka espionage/sabotage rogue class with tech/bombs and less stabby.

Would love it to play with engineering to add random crits to engineering tinkers (using nitro boosts either crits and doubles speed or crits and blows up to insta kill you and does high damage to enemies near you)

Realistic people have realistic expectation, you’re right there its hard to be optimistic with this game

WoW players are like weed addicts. No matter how much you tell them its bad they will still find a reason to say its good.

I’d much rather have an expansion than just a class, since for the time being there really isn’t any ‘evergreen’ content to take part in.

I would trade all of that for some new sound effects on all our skills

And some people do everything they can to drag others down to their own hatred of an object.

Truth hurts. 90% of the time people don’t want to hear or face the truth

Don’t confuse your personal opinion with “truth”.

I swear. The TV show House inspired people to think being “mean” was somehow equal to telling the truth. “If people dont like what I say, it must be because I am correct”.

Look, if you don’t want to agree with me that you are just a downer intent on dragging others down to your hatred of an object…just remember.

90% of the time people don’t want to hear or face the truth.

I mean, if you’re not into Dragon flying and going to stick with your main, there hasn’t been much in the new expansion. It’s the bog-standard 4-5 zones, 10 levels, 8 dungeons (only 4 for M+ to start), and 1 raid. A huge number of system changes are filling in holes they dug last few expansions.

Then they’ve already toned down a lot of the hype for Dragon Riding for people it mattered to, by leaving it restricted to the 4 new zones. Even taking to nerfing soar rather than allowing freedoms with the new expansion feature and entertaining the idea of it being a lasting in-game feature.

If they get a Mech-suit focused specialization, It should be able to fly.

It is not my opinion , its the fact that people are addicted to this game. And not wanting to hear the truth is being willingly delusional and in some case ignorant

No one debates that some people are addicted to this game.

Your point is about absolutely anyone that likes the game. Addiction is not a qualifier. Unless you are trying to imply that the only people that like/enjoy WoW are the addicts.

But then…you are just wrong.

Pro tip : You can be addicted to the game and hate it.

I won’t trade it for tinkers. At the very least I’d hold out for tinkers, tailors, soldiers and a spy.

Lol, I knew you would’ve here soon!

I ALWAYS COME BACK!

I was actually gone for a While, I came back today to see this!

Frankly, Dragonflight interests me, but I don’t entirely like what’s happening with my class and I’m not a big fan of the ENTIRE expansion being “DRAGONS!”
But that hasn’t spoiled the expansion for me, Im interested in Dragonriding, and i’m happy with anything that isn’t shadowlands.

All that being said However: Tinkers would obviously be the best addition to the game, and there’s no changing that.
And the absurd addition of Evokers has cemented the fact that anything is possible now.

I can’t say that I’m all too excited for Dragonflight. I’ve never had any affinity for dragons, so a whole expansion devoted to them was a a bit of a letdown. Don’t get me wrong, I think it’ll be fun, it looks beautiful, just not very interesting, to me. I’m mostly excited to be moving away from Shadowlands!

Also … TINKER! I just hope that Mechagnomes have a unique Mechagon themed Mech.

Bring back Archeology!

Hyped for an algalon/sinestra type boss, dragonflight seems like the place, its been a while.

The thing I like about DF the most is that its a baseline going forward. Even if people are skeptical of tings like talents or Dragonriding, its a step forward to things beyond DF that can be improved upon to give more choice and involved systems.

I do disagree about tinkers though, I would not trade ANYTHING for just tinkers. Now if I can get some glyphs for some cooler spell effects you might be able to coerce me into accepting the tinkers more.

To me, Dragons are an incredibly important crux of fantasy. They are the archetype of a fantasy universe.
But an Entire expansion based around Dragons, on the Dragon Islands, In dragons zones, With dragon characters, With a new playable dragon class, and rideable dragons.

It falls really flat to me.

Ew. Id rather have the crumbs in my dogs food bowl over a tinker class.
