Agreed. There’s nothing fun, interesting or original about it. Not my thing.
I think It sounds pretty fun and original. Can’t think of too many RPG’s with a Class where you Pilot a Mech.
It might not be your thing, but I do hope it’s next. It would be a helluva selling point. New classes always are.

Id’ve been happy with them in Dragonflight. I’ll be happy with them if they show up in 11.0 Or whenever.

Oh they definitely have their place! And to be clear, I don’t hate them, I totally get the love for them. I think you put it better than me, it’s just too much.

Back from the dead with a new lease on life.
And sure I’m dissapointed about the 10.0 announcement, but I have a few golden eggs.
- If Evokers can happen, ANYTHING can happen.
- Blizzard continues to Include Goblins and Gnomes pretty reliably into new zones and stories.
- The April Fools joke shows that the Idea to add Tinker has clearly crossed their mind, that’s all it takes.

You mean instead of spending 1 minute changing my talents based on icy veins, I now get to spend 5 minutes changing my talents based on icy veins to get back a bunch of stuff that I have baseline now.
Wow, I’m so excited they’re bringing back the illusion of more choice.
Genderflight is more of the same hollow game that only cares about pandering, recycling the same models, and stockholders.

From my perspective, I enjoy WoW Dragons. So, this is great.
While some other people hate dragons in general, or WoW Dragons specifically. That is a big part of DF to buy in to, as a premise.
I’m still trying to wrap my head around the idea that we’re going to have an entire expansion based around the dragons…
… and yet, the Dragon Soul raid ended the way it did.

I mean you if you’re a cynical person you can make every change sound like that, well done i suppose.
You actually don’t need to change anything believe it or not, you could run any talents you want to full clear mythic and up to 25’s.
You seem to not like SL but don’t like changes either… you seem to be the type of person that won’t be happy with anything and nothing is good enough. What do you want? What did you expect? What changes would make you happy… ?
Tinkers, as OP said.
I don’t know if I’d make such a drastic change, But Tinkers would be a cool class.

Tinkers = meh, talent changes ain’t good… but a corny class idea is? Evoker sounds a lot more fun.

I wouldn’t trade the whole expansion for Tinkers, But I’d Trade Evokers and the Dragon Isles. Dragonriding is cool, and I’m happy some classes got good talents.
I wish I could Dragonride with any mount.

you don’t come in knocking EVERY change, just to sit there say you want Tinkers and beg everyone to make you feel excited about the game… if you aren’t excited about the game, maybe find another game to play? He needs to supply change that would please him… if anything actually would, that or his post served no purpose.
No, I Main Monk actually. I was dissapointed in Brewmaster’s talents specifically.
I think a Race of Dragons that look like Blood Elves that can only be 1 class that can’t tank is a hot garbage idea.
BUT I acknowledge that some people love the idea of evoker, and more power to them.

SL sucks, we can all agree on that… but to make a thread without supplying some sort to changes you’d like in a thread complaining about lack of excitement is a pointless thread.
So, a class you don’t know anything about in exchange for a new zone, new raids, new dungeons, new story, new talents and… a new class?
You haven’t touched archaeology in about a year… before that it was a few years, before that it was many years. The only reason you’re mentioning it now is because a few vocal people think that it was the greatest content ever, and that removing it (and it’s not gone you can still do it) was somehow the greatest sin ever… but, if you look at their professions tab, you’ll see that they too almost never utilized archaeology.

Yeah, if only there was archaeology that you never actually do… then you could not do it in the new expansion as well.
Arch needs a substantial overhall, it’s boring and terrible. And I agree, it does suck that it wasn’t brought over, but if it was more of the same thing, I think it would have been a waste of time and effort.
Are you? Think about a hundred or a few hundred years ago, when people would get upset because the new expansion for checkers and poker didn’t have what they wanted… oh wait, they didn’t do that… No, you aren’t getting too old, you’re just bored and jaded.
