Oh, well that’s not so bad no–wait…
Oh…
Oh no…
This is a mistake they are going to regret later. They need to take their time I am sorry but shadowlands needed to take its time as well.
5 new zones
New class
New race
Talent revamp
Ui revamp
Professions revamp
No new borrowed power system
New flying mechanic
Customizable dragons
“Small” ok. I disagree with your opinion on that.
its not good start announcing no lfd for classic warth remember Jay allen brak was the guy that killed star wars galaxies before he came to blizzard then it turned out wow wasa bad game under his leadership…lol.
Yes, she has been with Blizzard for two years now, on WoW Classic, not Retail and not Shadowlands.
She was promoted to Executive Producer over Retail yesterday.
Further, the way Blizz does expansions they start years before they even announce them. Dragonflight has been in the works for at least two years as well and she had nothing to do with what we saw.
Now, will she have influence going forward, yes, and we will have to see that that is. The expansion after DF has already been started and that is where she will have the most opportunity to influence direction because it is still in early stages.
I believe some people have a problem with her simply because she is a SHE.
Classic team : FOR THE CLASSIC
REtail team : FOR THE RETAIL
It’s true, I have problems with everyone unless they are amorphous blobs.
Name any hero class that has been in their starting zone for 15 levels . The average is around 3 to 5 levels .
I just eant to point out, it’s “intents and purposes.”
I don’t have a dog in this fight–I don’t care about whatever people are arguing about in this thread, just pointing out that this is highly inaccurate.
It’s a good thing someone eanted to point that out.
Yes, it’s a typo.
I’m not sure what you mean.
I’m just going to point out that things are changing and they made an announcement for a feature that is single handedly one of the biggest to come in the game, And would only ever be reserved as a box feature for an expansion.
It’s patch 9.2.5 and it’s cross-faction.
Thank goodness too. That’s going to be a huge boon to the 10 people still playing on Alliance.
What I’ve been hearing for the past four years:
THESE SYSTEMS ARE KILLING THE GAME! THERE’S TOO MUCH LAYERED ON TOP OF EACH OTHER! WHY CAN’T WE GO BACK TO A SIMPLER GEAR-BASED POWER SYSTEM W/TALENT TREES?
Blizzard announces a new expansion with a single new system, a new hero class/race combination, expanded talent trees, and zero borrowed power so that progression is gear-based like the olden days.
What I’m hearing in this thread:
OH MY GOD, THAT’S IT!! WE KNEW THIS DAY WOULD COME! THE GAME IS OVER AND THEY’RE PUTTING IT INTO MAINTENANCE MODE!
My dudes…seriously.
There is nothing in the new expansion’s promotion or its revealed/not revealed content that says it’s headed for maintenance.
We have the same number of new dungeons we always get, but in response to player complaint that it’s boring to do the same 8 dungeons over and over for two years, they solved the problem by responding to yet another player complaint that old content is just sitting there unused, wasted, and irrelevant.
We get 4 of the new dungeons in M+ alongside 4 past dungeons in M+ to make our 8 M+ season lineup.
The following season, we get the opposite 4 new dungeons alongside a different 4 past dungeons in M+.
This rotation is a direct answer to player requests on two fronts. And y’all are complaining about it. I do not understand our community, sometimes.
Because she has experience watching over mmo’s in maintenance mode? It’s right there in OP’s post. Sheesh.
Wrong. She’s not new to Blizzard. She has been leading Classic & TBC Classic. She was in Blizzcon. She’s also a longtime WoW player.
my experience with her through EQ2 was she was open and loved the game. and gaming. I can’t imagine she will be any different in her new role. People who like gaming are what MMOs need.
