Holly Longdale - New Executive Producer of WoW

Incorrect. All they stated in the video is that it would be a hero class, so it will start “at a higher level” “similar to the Death Knight and Demon Hunter” classes… In that video…

You sir, are lying. Please stop.

Here is where that information came from. You got it from the freaking WoW Wikipedia. If you look at that page, you can see references. You know where they got that information? FROM SOME RANDOM INTERVIEW!!!

People I personally have never heard of, and Blizzplanet, some rando WoW blog.

WORLD OF WARCRAFT: DRAGONFLIGHT INTERVIEW WITH JACKIE WILEY AND TINA WANG

Blizzplanet: Are there requirements to unlock the Dracthyr Evoker or will they be available before the expansion, like all the classes have been?

Jackie: It’s a classic Hero Class. So we’ll start a little at 58, etc. They will be available during the pre-patch. You can get started with your Dracthyr Evoker and get ready for the expansion.

You don’t even know for sure if 58 is the actual starting level “for sure” but it’s obvious, from extrapolating data from some rando interview rofl.

Stop lying. it’s not a good look, golden boy.

Actually,
Legion is 45 (post-squish)
BFA is 50 (post-squish)
Shadowlands is 60
Dragonflight will be 70

At this point I feel like you’re just throwing things at a wall and hoping something sticks.

This.
There is the most (hopefully) GOOD new content announced in Dragonflight since Legion. Looks like they are pruning away the bloated systems and nonsense, at last.

The starting level is literally on the website deep dive.

That’s crazy.

So what level is the mage tower again?

What level are the items that drop from the Legion raid?

So you’re comparing the starting level of older expansions, to the final level of the current expansions.

Legion max level is 45 eh?

So by your math, Shadowlands is not 60, it’s 55, BFA is 50 and Dragonflight is 60…

I think you’re just throwing sticks at the brick wall because math is hard. But ya didn’t make a dent.

Unfortunately. The entire discussion was over your head, as referenced above. We were talking about the Dracthyr potential zone levels. Because they start lower than current max level and get a new zone to level in…

You might want to watch that again chief. It’s here at 24:50ish.

Sure seems that way.

Literally a single iota of effort is all it takes.

Yes, she has been offered that position now. It is not the position she filled at the time the release video was created and shown to us.

Are you sure you aren’t just trolling for effect? Did you see the words “Lead Producer, WoW Classic” written under her name on the release video?

You have made so many wrong statements in this post I cant help but wonder if you being serious.

No kidding. It’s too bad that you’re off on some unrelated tangent about old expansions, when we were talking about the leveling range of Dracthyr.

But I guess you’re right. I mixed up item level 50 with level 50 for the mage tower. So you got me one one single unrelated point that you devised from your imagination.

Congratulations!

Unfortunately though, the Dracthyr leveling zone will in fact be somewhere between 50 and 65, because it will be a hero class. They have not officially confirmed the starting level of Dracthyr yet. We only know that you will have to get a character to 58 to unlock them.

This may mean that they will be 58, or 55 or 50 or maybe even 45?

Either way, it has nothing to do with the max level of legion. A single iota of effort is all it would have taken, for you to realize that, but thanks for correcting me lmao.

Flag and drag.

Official sources already said they start at 58, several people have already pointed this out but here it is one more time:

They’re 58, they’re intended to be 60 by the end of the intro, considering they’re going to be accessible during the pre-patch. There’s no way to misinterpret this further unless you’re just senselessly trolling at this point.

This has been stated a number of times, Ion even says it in the video reveal. He says “This is definately a Hero class and so like the Death Knight before them, or Demon Hunters, they will be starting at Level 58…”

So at this point I’m over this post and I think I need to make a cuppa and some toast and vegemite and go play the game. (

Is 58 a number between 50 and 65?

In previous expansions, hero classes have been done differently. Death knights were level 55 when the level cap was 70. You went through the tutorial “zone” from 55-58/60, depending on if you did any other activities like pvp, then you go to outland, level 58-68, then you go to Northrend and level from 68-80.

In Legion, Demon Hunters started at level 98 and didn’t even have an actual zone. It was an instanced area. You spent less than a level there.

So, based on them announcing there would be a leveling zone, it’s only obvious to assume it would be more than 2 levels worth lf content.

But even then. That doesn’t say that they won’t spend leveling from 58-65 and skip the first 5 levels of introductory quests, and start at a higher renown level than other classes, either, now does it.

At this point, I feel like you’re just grasping at anything to prove me wrong. Even though, you haven’t proven anything, because I literally said “somewhere between 50-65”.

Good try though bub.

Aww the cuteness! :heart_eyes::sob:

The most important question: Does she PvP?

If she does we are good! :sunglasses::+1:

Under her, all forms of PVP, including PVP servers were completely removed, permanently. Funny enough, they never returned until shortly after she left.

But she likes player housing, and microtransactions. especially player housing microtransactions!

Come on man :sob:

Good PvP sucks

its alright they already killed pvp.

cant kill something that’s already dead.

i miss actual pvp servers D:
