Thank you so much, Maeshkin! Looking forward to the next the KU Monthly Storytelling Event!
I love knowing the Wolfmane Tribe are out there, making advancing the story of Kalimdor.
Yup, we are out there doing our thing. Having good times and all.
Following the Spring Dance of the Earth Mother and the Great Hunt, a tribal council was called to discuss where the Wolfmane would travel. Now that the warmer seasons were upon them, it was time to go where the hunting was good and the resources plentiful.
There were other factors to ponder as well. It would not be too long until the Helping Hands Coalition was to meet at Karnumâs Glade in Desolace. The current goals of this coalition was to establish supply routes and bring needed materials to the Kaldorei. Because of this, Chieftain Huwah has asked everyone to gather as much as possible without harming the lands in which the Wolfmane roam.
Another important upcoming event was the Byltan Festival in which the Silver Circle has invited the Wolfmane to take part in. Such an invitation is considered an honor by the Wolfmane. Like the Coalition meeting, the festival was to be held at Karnumâs Glade as well.
Many regions that Tauren traditionally roamed were discussed and each weighed on the amount of resources that could be found as well as their proximity to upcoming events. Camp Ataya in Northern Feralas was decided despite the recent unrest that could be found there.
War between the Woodpaw Gnolls and the Gordunni Ogres still raged and Camp Ataya had been subjected to raids from both sides. Potential raids upon these two groups were discussed however raids upon the Gnolls would depend on the result of negotiations. These future raids could yield resources while weakening enemy strength which was agreed to be of great interest to the Wolfmane.
In the days following the council, preparations were made to depart the winter camp of Lonaâfe and descend into the deep forests of Feralas. Of course precautions were taken as the Wolfmane were to travel through potential hostile lands. Threat of attack was considered to be likely so braves were asked to be ready and vigilant for ambush. However, no raids or ambushes came.
The journey through Feralas proved rather peaceful and without difficulty with exception to guiding a Brutosaur under low hanging branches and roots. The Wolfmane arrived safely and began to set up their homes and fires. After finishing work, some decided to explore the area and seek out old ruins. Although dangers lurked, their explorations remained peaceful.
As the Wolfmane gathered to discuss the current state of Feralas, three unexpected visitors appeared. A Vulpera Lifeweaver, his daughter, and a Highmountain runaway child. The child Aheeta, came seeking help due to various disappearances in Highmountain. It was added that the elements were upset deep within the mountain.
Head Brave Breutex wished to depart immediately with those that wished to go for Highmountain. After some discussion, it was agreed that Breutex would lead a group to investigate in Highmountain while the Chieftain remained with the rest of the Wolfmane in Feralas. It was also decided that the Wolfmane in Feralas would attempt to learn of the situation there in the meantime.
The next morning, many appeared, the Chieftain included, to wish Breutex and the group well in their travels. After farewells were said, the group departed Camp Ataya and headed north. Despite the dangers of Desolace, the journey was peaceful if not a bit uncomfortable due to the head. Once the group entered the Stonetalon Mountains, their path turned eastward. The mountains provided cooler temperatures and the journey remained peaceful as well.
The heat only returned once the group arrived upon the Northern Barrens. The cool, ocean breeze greeted the group in Ratchet and from there, the group sailed on a merchant vessel to the Broken Isles. The sailors rowed the group out and deposited them upon the shores of Azuna. From there they traveled through the forests of Valâsharah and then up the mountain pathâŚ

Characterâs Name (IC and OOC): Bramblefang
Characterâs Class or Career, and Race: Timbermaw Furbolg Ursa Totemic
Character Description: An Ursa Totemic of the Timbermaw Tribe, Bramblefang has spent his life fighting for the green hills of Felwood to return back to what they once were. He has worked tirelessly with the local Kaldorei and Shuâhalo forces of the Emerald Circle to restore his home, but it always seems a battle. Noticing his weariness and the constant struggle that the fight has on him, his elder Shaman Talloak has sent for Bramblefang to join with the Wolfmane Tribe to get him away from Felwood and gain more worldly experience to revitalize his heart and soul.
Always a big fluffo, a kind heart, and sometimes a stomach bigger than Kalimdor, Bramblefang loves to talk about fishing and food. When engaged in combat, heâs more of a bear-zerker than anything else, eager to challenge the next big foe that would threaten his home or his friends. You can find him right now helping the Duskwatch Saberguard in the Broken Isles helping out with their Ascension server campaign every Thursday at 5:00 ST!
Event Summary
Grifterâs of Gadgetzan - Hosted by Baoshii.
Participants: Brutus, Huwah, Kalos, Narantuya, Brekan, Hossa, Tahani, Aeloso
Following up on a lead regarding supplies for the Kaldorei, Raton has been looking into ways to secure the Gadgetzan shipping manifest for an interested 3rd party. To acquire it though, heâs going to need to find a way to access the vault of Mayor Noggenfoggar.
After some scouting, two potential leads and aids in this task were found. One was Trixie âThe Sprocket Queenâ Mattel, a former Thunderdome arena champion and now ex-lover of the Mayor. The other was Captain Rex of the Cloudsong, a shipping vessel recently impounded in the Gadgetzan Harbor.
Taking several allies to meet first with Captain Rex, a deal was struck that Captain Rex and his crew would aid the Wolfmane if they would retrieve one of the items theyâd brought into the city that had been seized by customs. The Wolfmane agreed, and they set about entering into the city proper to look for the courier currently delivering the second hand stolen goods.
The Wolfmane would not need to search for long, as they entered the Great Gadgetzan Market they quickly spotted the courier they sought. Or rather couriers as it was revealed the carrier was three triplet sister Hozen, Iki, Tiki and Taki. The Wolfmane blew through the crowded market and managed to ensnare two of the sisters, but the third ran into the crowd, attempting to flee!
In hot pursuit, the Wolfmane overcame a number of obstacles and obstructions that the fleeing hozen used to aid in their escape! First, overturned animal cages caused mayhem as animals fled in all directions into the crowd but were quickly tamed by Kalos.
Next, the Wolfmane came across a field trip from the Orgrimmar orphanage! The children were currently playing with the brand new Noggentech⢠Kiddo-Friendly Shredder! Several children squealed with delight as the device showed off itâs Funtime Flamethrower⢠and Super Sawblade Shooters⢠until the Wolfmane disabled the deathtrap and quickly got back to the chase.
Further obstacles assaulted and attempted to block the tribeâs path, including a very angry cabbage farmer, a troupe of intimidatingly stylish gnomish dancers snapping their fingers in sync down an alleyway and members of the Kabal themselves stepping in to throw blasts of red mana infused magic at our heroes.
In all though, the Wolfmane won the day, securing their prize from the crazed Hozen, and escaping back into the deserts of Tanaris before the Bruisers could show up. What challenges await the Wolfmane next remain to be seen.
Character Name: Huwah Wisehorn
Class: Shaman
Titles: Chieftain, Elder
Character History: Born to the Wildhorn Tribe of the Stonetalon Mountains, Huwah was raised as the Wildhorn traveled between the mountains and the Barrens. Studying under an elder shaman, Huwah learned the ways of the elements with a focus on water and its healing properties. Accompanying the Braves, Huwah served as warrior and healer when the Wildhorn raided their enemies such as the Centaur.
However, a time came for Huwah to set out and learn from other Shuâhalo tribes across central Kalimdor which led to many adventures. He met many in his travels and learned much from other Shaman including Elder Khonsi.
Eventually he came to walk with the Hawkwind Tribe and remained with them as they journeyed to Mulgore after the valley from the Centaur. As an experienced shaman, Huwah began to teach young Shuâhalo in the ways of the elemental spirits and guide them in their trials. The tranquil life in southern Mulgore was most appealing to Huwah and so he rarely left Red Cloud Mesa for a few years.
Some years after the founding of Orgrimmar and Thunder Bluff, Huwah decided to leave Mulgore and trek through central Kalimdor to see the changes brought about by the Horde and to learn of the other peoples that had now settled there. After a few more adventures, Huwah returned to Mulgore where he remained for many more years.
At the request of his friend Elder khonsi who was falling ill, Huwah left Red Cloud Mesa and the Hawkwind to join the Wolfmane. He quickly became a part of the tribe and chose to remain with them after Elder Khonsi passed away. Serving as an advisor and guide, Huwah has given counsel to every Chieftain until the Wolfmane chose him to be the fourth Chieftain of the Wolfmane.
So glad you guys are still around and active! For the HERD!
