High latency issue(oceanic) NEED HELP!

Since the last 2 days, i started having high latency issues after logging into the game like 10 to 15 mins. normally i have around 200ms and now it is starting to spikes up around 1000ms. I read some forum threads and did whatever i can but it seems like it is not solved. so here is the winMTR table

You are pathing through singapore most likely. Problem most likely related to this bigger thread https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/starhub-singapore-singtel-myrepublic-lots-of-spikey-world-delay/103307/140

yea i m just reading this thread right now. it seems it is the server problem. ty for your help.

Others like myself been having the same issue with little or no response thus far.

I’m playing from Asian before this day all are fine… but now lantency spike 1000ms to 11136ms. I watching like a photo …I can chat in game but cannt do instance or raiding

Issue isn’t limited to just Singapore, having the same issues inside instances from Hyjal PST, whilst living on the West Coast.

That master thread posted above is for all though, if you’re encountering these problems post there.

If you’re having lag issues but are playing outside the SE Asia region, it’s much more likely you’re experiencing issues related to Spectrum instead:

This isn’t what I’m having, my issue is instance based, spiking latency as high as 20k, settling to 5-8k, highest spike was couple of days ago during Mythic, a spiked to 58k. The issues on that thread are slightly higher latency than their norms. So, normal rates are 16ms, they have 50-75 now. And that’s constant rates, mine was singled out to instances only. Not sure if you were partly replying to me, as I mentioned that I was on West Coast and not Asia.

Yea, my reply was to you actually, as most reports these few days from the West Coast were indeed from Spectrum users.

Your lag spikes does appear to be much more severe than most of their reports though, which is strange. I don’t recall seeing any other report from outside the SE Asia region lately with spikes such as yours.

Is it only in Mythics though? Because for us SE Asian players, we experience our spikes whenever we change instance shards whenever we’re not grouped with a player from the US region. For example, when we log in, leaving a group, joining a LFG group (eg. an IE, LFD, LFR), or moving from one zone to another (such as walking out of Dazar’alor). I myself haven’t had any issues in M+ if I manage to get my US friend to invite me immediately after I log in (although i have to wait for a few minutes for the initial lag spike to cool over after joining his group).

If your issue is still similar to what I’ve described, it’d be good for you to submit a report on that thread too. If not, your issue is likely different and you should probably open your own thread.

Any instances, I luckily haven’t encountered it during raids yet, so just Mythics so far.

I’ve already posted several times on that master thread, I was one of the first to respond it to initially.

EDIT: For sake of mentioning, that big thread wasn’t originally limited to singapore in the title, I think that’s a later on change, I guess when a huge amount of SEA players responded to the thread.

Might be a different issue then. I’m not aware of any Singaporean player who’s been able to even raid without a VPN these past 2 days (as also mentioned in the threads here).

Probably be best if you open a new thread with your own log, just to be on the safe side if ours gets fixed, and yours isn’t. Edit: And yes, especially since the master thread is now dedicated to the SE Asia region. Don’t want your issue to be overlooked!
