High Elves are not blue-eyed Blood Elves

Because lor’thermar told them “you’re banished from Silvermoon you void addicts”

If you read the campaign and void elf quest unlock, Magister Umbric says his people still see themselves as blood elves but due to unfortunate events, they help the Alliance in hopes the rest of his people (sindorei) understand that using void magic can be useful against enemies

It’s that lor’thermar got upset at alleria during the night borne quest unlock chain so he had grudges

The new Goblin leader was actually the leader of the Ratchet gobs.

Ok I’ll get my whack in on this dead horse .

So if High Elves are not blue eyed Blood elves then are they a complete other species like Modern human is to Neanderthal .

I thought the difference was just political and that those that remained under the banner of high were mainly affiliated with Dalaran as either part of the Kirin Tor or Silver covenant .

High elves and blood elves are physiologically the same race, and the difference between high and blood elves is only political. … Some high elves were exiled from Quel’Thalas after the Third War. Other high elf remnants have chosen to rejoin the Alliance in recent years, arriving to a cold reception.

I believe High Elves have Allerian Stronghold in Outland is a big town with High Elves, Shattrath also had a population, we also have Dalaran and Stormwind with significant minority of High Elves with Dalaran having the biggest population and all those Farstrider lodges around the world have High Elf populations like the one in the Hinterlands. It’s been close to 20 years since the fall of Quel’thelas. I’m assuming these High Elves have been making babies same as Blood Elves.

We don’t know if Void Elves under Umbric have been reproducing, but we know they’ve been recruiting. So who knows?

We know Gnomeregan wasn’t the only hub for gnomes and they seem to have rebounded. Even the draenei are reproducing. So in another 10 years we may see populations rebound to healthy numbers and Blizzard will fudge it until the numbers make sense.

“If you’re an alliance player and you just want to be a fair-skinned, light haired, blue eyed elf, sorry, the horde is there waiting for you.”

This was said almost two years ago. Incessant forum spamming isn’t going to get you anywhere

Lol look again. Topic title and first post

People ARE saying Blood Elves aren’t High Elves.

They are. So technically are Void Elves. Just each flavor of elf is a High Elf with different customs.

And if they played Warcraft III, they would had understand that the remaining high elves of Silvermoon renounced themselves as blood elves in honor of their dead
.why that won’t get through their heads I’m not sure

Thats not what the OP is saying, he’s saying the request for HE’s shouldn’t stop because Blue Eyed BE’s are becoming a thing, and that High Elves are more then just an eye color. Its coming from the flood of people telling Alliance HE supporters to pack it up basically.

He’s saying HE’s aren’t Blue Eyed BE’s. But he’s not saying BE’s aren’t High Elves.

This is the best part of this announcement. The high-elf crowd didn’t have time to coordinate their response to the datamining, and their reasoning is all over the place. Apparently even they don’t know what makes a high elf a high elf at the moment even after years of repeating themselves in a mega thread.

That is exactly what he’s saying. If he meant to imply something else, he needs to word it better and learn to discriminate by asking for Silver Covenant Elves instead of blatantly stating Blood Elves aren’t High Elves when Blizz has specifically said they are.

Now I wouldn’t mind a base fair skin option for Velves and the purple kicking in with the racial .

It would still give my 2nd main her blueberry elf look in combat

It’s kinda like saying the horde wants humans so let’s make an alliance with the brotherhood in elwynn and westfall. We just want bandanas around their faces.

Blood Elves are High Elves.

But not all High Elves are Blood Elves. And when people request HE’s to be playable or refer to the HE’s who still call themselves HE they do not do so to the discredit of BE’s unless explicitly stated, for I have met some Pro HE supporters who blatantly deny BE’s being HE’s and they are very specific with making sure their beliefs get across on the point.

People rn are flooding the forums griefing Alliance HE supporters, because the Blood Elves are getting Blue eyes possibly. So all the OP is saying is High Elves are not just Blue eyed blood elves. He’s basically just re affirming BE’s are HE’s but not all HE’s are BE’s which was always the point of the request.

I prefer BE’s but I think HE’s add to my story as well, and root for Elves in general, the HE fantasy does have an appeal to people who play Alliance, I thank the stars everyday BE’s aren’t and never went Alliance in BC, but I don’t think they should stop the HE’s from being playable on Alliance.

Yea, don’t explain the nuances to me. Explain it to your buddy that made this topic because he doesn’t seem to know.

There are a lot more Blood Elves then what are considered Alliance High elves and the Void Elves come from that larger Blood Elf population .
