Also, Valeera isn’t Alliance. She’s neutral. She had personal loyalty to Varian and his family, but not to the Alliance as an organization.

She was loyal to the king of the alliance…not sure how that doesn’t scream alliance.

Pre-Legion. She was involved in the rogue stuff.

Prior to Legion Varian was still alive.

Like I mentioned in one of the various paragraphs above, many alliance members/races go neutral when fighting greater threats, that doesn’t mean it would make sense to see them running around Orgrimmar/Dazar’alor freely cuz “neutrality”.

The same applies for every alliance-leaning race who opens their doors to the horde whenever there’s a greater threat, technically all alliance races are neutral.

The Val’Shararah night elves helped with the Arcandor? Do you have a source for this? I can’t recall anyone helping out with it other than Farodin, who was a hermit.

She literally says that in BfA, which is why I said that she is neutral. I’m not disagreeing with you.

But she was fighting for Wrynn, aka the king of the alliance, until BfA. She was even there with the alliance when they invaded UC during wotlk.

Which is why I use the term “alliance-leaning”, because no race in the game is strictly alliance since alliance nations constantly open their doors to the horde during major threats such as Dalaran and the draenei spaceship.
The same for pretty much every single alliance character during Legion being neutral except for Jaina who is mia after she has her tantrum. That doesn’t make them neutral.

If it came to it back then, she would have fought besides wrynn, aka the king of the alliance, without hesitation. As she did during the UC invasion.

Khadgar mentions being disappointed about the war, and refusing to participate in it.

This is important because Khadgar is the leader of Dalaran.

If Valeera says she’ll have no part in the war, it doesn’t make blood elves neutral. If Lor’themar does, it makes Quel’Thalas neutral (though not all blood elves).

Narratively, if Dalaran weren’t shelved during BfA, I very much doubt they would be seen prancing around Dazaralor or being neutral towards Sylvanas who literally wants to murder everyone. The same for the “neutral” night elves on the broken isles.

But they were shelfed, the same as how the draenei spaceship was shelfed, or the high elves, or the broken isles night elves, because that would have been too op.

They went neutral in Wrath. Jaina had them go back to being Alliance. Then Khadgar had them go back to being neutral. Khadgar’s still in charge, so why would they suddenly go Alliance just because the Alliance and Horde are fighting again?

Dalaran was Alliance leaning at one point, though memory escapes me exactly when. I remember something about them supplying the Alliance war effort indirectly, while they were otherwise neutral. I’m almost sure this was pre-Khadgar though.

Since it was something about a war, maybe it was Cata? Can’t remember.
