High Elf POSITIVITY Thread 😎

If you have herbalism, you’ll enjoy being able to blink to herbs. Use Soulshape when roughly 15 yards from an herb, grab the herb (with a Shadowlands Gathering enchant on your gloves), then by the time you’re done picking it up, GCD is done and you can go back into Travel Form. Only for use out of combat.

I want to do something in game but I’m not sure what. I need to do dishes soon and start on dinner though.

Indeed, and the grounds for this opposition are firmly rooted in the fact that Dalaran had traditionally been exclusively Alliance-aligned.

Right, so I guess its just entirely a coincidence that all these horrific murders occurred in the sewers, where crime and murder runs rampant in secrecy. I think everyone knows otherwise, but if closing your eyes and covering your ears makes you feel better than have at it.

Now you’re ignoring the fact that that is was Dalaran that asked for their help against the Blue Dragonflight, nice.

EDIT: I’m looking forward to see the hoops you will jump through to try to twist this one.

The majority of the questionable exchanges occur topside, so you’re effectively attempting to mischaracterize the event as something that was undertaken in secret – with neither Jaina nor the Kirin Tor being cognizant of what was actually happening.

This is a headcanon.

I’m not ignoring it, it doesn’t matter. That valueless insight of yours… :man_shrugging:

Alright, so then you can say they formed to uphold tradition in a way. As far as I know though, there was no law forbidding blood elves from joining the city.

They weren’t formed to uphold it’s laws, they were formed to oppose blood elves.

There wasn’t, until Jaina Proudmoore (AKA “The Law”) stated otherwise.

They were formed to oppose the Blood Elves being admitted into the Kirin Tor, and therefore to promote the traditional values of Dalaran as an exclusively Alliance-aligned city-state, not to simply oppose Blood Elves generally – you’re beginning to sound like Reno, building the Silver Covenant up as boogeymen in your head.

It’s that simple, seize powers beyond what your position might actually entail, and any crazy lawless action becomes that law

Jaina was a member of a ruling council, not the entirety of the council.

This is upholding tradition, not law.

Did I ever say they were evil because of the way they were formed?

I’m not arguing the legality of the Purge, so this doesn’t matter to the point I made. I was responding to a point about their foundation, not the Purge.

i actually agree with your interpretations. the purge was largely an attack on civilians and the grey area stuff isnt even performed by the SC. vereesa gives the morally ambiguous tasks to the player. ‘feeding people to sharks’ is really the only possible sole act of murderous intent a SC member can be seen performing. everything else is fighting back against civilians resisting and the shark scene is magnified because its the only example. except as you said earlier it appears to be an interrogation and the dangling is an intimidation act, the sunreaver doesnt even get dropped until a horde player surprises him by attacking. they were given an order by the leader of the kirin tor and carried it out. its also worth noting vereesa was still blaming magister types for the mana bomb that killed her husband, but that anger switched to garrosh in the war crimes novel

Wow.

From the Silver Covenant? The only “questionable” occurrences from the SC happened in the sewers, unless you can list other cruel instances that would parallel feeding Sunreavers to sharks, or drowning them in the water.

You really got no shame to even contradict yourself in such a short sentence.

That projection, though…

Me thinks he’s moving the goalpost yet again.

Actually no, scratch that, he’s been moving the goalpost since at first, it was about morality, then, it was about legality, and now, it’s about tradition.

I keep seeing moving the goal post comments actuations or not being satisfied no matter what they do being thrown around, but really they never delivered what was asked for, A Alliance High Elf we see in the game, not some AR race compromise to appease the Alliance High Elf Fans, just give what is asked for once, be honest and deliver Devs,

Christ, are we still doing this? Jaina and the Silver Covenant are war criminals no better than Sylvanas or Garrosh, move on.

“B-but, they need to lean in to their bitterness!”

“Also, let me tell you in 100 different ways why what they did is totally justifed and not that bad, really.”

But it doesnt help the horde!

How are you equating one argument with getting what you want it’s beyond me but that aside.

You already got two options, the tooltip is not a big deal.
