High Elf POSITIVITY Thread šŸ˜Ž

Positive theyā€™re already in game as horde, in any case

They are also in game as Alliance too, just not playable. It is all that we have been requesting. For the ones that are already within the Alliance to become playable.

Is there anything Blizzard could do with Void Elves to make you guys genuinely happy with them? I think if they developed their story in the right way, I could end up liking them a lot, but I donā€™t know if Iā€™d ever prefer them over regular Alliance High Elves.

The fact that theyā€™re only with the Alliance for convenience and were also in the Horde really takes away the joy from liking them, for me.

Careful: those silly ā€˜confederateā€™ elves will start showing up.

CROMGARU HAS IDEA!!

Put ALL elves into their own faction!!
That way, everyone can roflstomp them to hearts content!

I actually proposed this several times lol, elves are usually isolationists

This is literal semantics. What does design-wise even mean? Talk about a nonsensical reply.

You are seriously suggesting that a lore argument and a design argument are one and thesame, and that it is merely semantics?
Do you read your posts before you hit reply?

So you thinkā€¦

DIE MURGA!

/blade dances all over his corpse

Killing Murgy is not allowed!

Another bait post where you donā€™t even begin to explain what design-wise is in this context. This seems like a waste of time.

I will not be having a good morning when my favourite cafe is forced to closed down in my area because of the government forcing non-essentials business to close over the Covid-19 outbreak here in Australia :frowning:

:frowning: I am sorry to hear that, stay healthy Sara!! One of my best friends is just getting back to Australia today, he was here but cut his trip short, I think heā€™s landing in Sydney or he already has, and then heā€™ll go home to Adelaide and quarantine I think idk how it works.

Iā€™m a bit sad too I have no white rice only brown rice and I will have to wait until places restock.

Oh, I feel sorry for your friend.

Not only does he have to put himself in isolation when he gets back into Australia, but he will have to fill in documentation showing they understand the restrictions and provide information detailing where they will be quarantined when he gets into South Australia too.

You could easily imagine a situation wherein Alleria and Vereesa, in a bid to force Quelā€™thalas back into the fold of the Alliance, rally their compatriots and attempt to quietly infiltrate Silvermoon (with the goal being to depose the government, therein, and replace it with one more sympathetic to the Alliance).

You can also easily imagine the ways in which this little incursion could fail, spectacularly. A series of situations like this, especially with the BEā€™s handily defeating the HEā€™s, would be a great way to demonstrate the reality of the in-universe circumstances to the playerbase; as well as a great way to iterate upon the social, cultural, and political distinctions between the two groups that have emerged post-Purge of Dalaran.

Beyond this, the only hurdle is conceiving of some calamitous occurrence that alters the physiology of the High Elves. Whether this means they all become Void Elves, or they all become something else entirely, is largely irrelevant to my mind.
