People keep speaking for âHordeâ players about this issue.
Iâm a former Horde main.
Theyâre not getting âBlood Elvesâ - theyâre getting skins to play High Elves.
and frankly, you guys already won in the Allied Race department before, and this seems more like reparations for diaper gnomes + void elves not being high elves to begin with + faction imbalance going nuts for EU/NA + vulpera/nightborne + a million other things this expansion.
Sorry, but the concept of something being âyoursâ is up to Blizzard and Blizzard alone. The Thalassian elf model has lore wise been partially split between the factions since WoTLK, and weâve already been over the whole âHorde only has Blood Elf due to Faction Imbalanceâ thing before - which has been confirmed by Blizzard as well.
The gameâs changing.
Stop hassling people for getting something they asked for.
PS: Blood Elves are gaining stuff, but people want to ignore the new hairstyles/jewelery that are exclusive to them, ontop of the fact theyâll continue to have the main focus for Thalassian elves lorewise.
Yaâll just got a short story.
Kaelâthas is coming back and itâs likely Lorâthemar is going to have some focus on that since ⊠short story doesnât come out of nowhere for no reason.
You guys have Silvermoon - the actual capital in game.
The concept of the elvish âcivil warâ starting up again is very much so more a possibility, which is even more content for Blood Elves.
But na, skins are taking away everything.
As somebody who has played both factions, had (has) a heavy investment into Thalassian elf story/RP, and still participates heavily in Elvish RP in Quelâthalas despite maining Void Elf; itâs time to stop. This isnât going to change anything for you, and it just comes across like toddlers crying the kid beside them some a few candies from the entire package - while they have the rest of the package.
âT-They have more skins now!â
Grats.
You have literally everything else and will continue to get more.
Go ask for the undead skins like every other reasonable person so it equals out.
