Whats that about?
I think the humiliation was that the wyrnns became infallible.
A stroke of good fortune, then, that their numbers have recently become exceedingly thin.
Hmm. Not the conversation I was expecting. But it has been a day since the announcement. Guess Iâm late to the party.
That back before night elves were a thing the Tauren hung out with Cenarius and were the original druids.
Weâll see how thin they actually are. Itâs not like a bunch of races werenât already driven to near extinction but then once the threat was removed it all become alright and thereâs no plots about the low population.
Oh! its that story!
Folk dispute that?
Tauren were the first Druids, they just forgot later.
Eh, until chronicles there was basically a dev post that was âNo, Shanâdo still has to be special, the Tauren just made that upâ basically. Because god forbid he isnât the super special first mortal druid evar
Chronicle⌠did correct it though right? Tauren were first?
Seems to have.
Iâll admit the friend in question was a bit overbearing on the whole horde bias nonsense. Got snapped at once for joking that there was an alliance bias because none of their capitals have an Elevator Boss
I used to joke that Blood Elves were originally intended to be Alliance because thereâs no backdoor to Silvermoon with a straight run to the capitalâs faction leader like every other Horde capital
That is suspicious now that you mention it
You know so many people in these threads and new people and people from various other AR communities have popped in discord too, have all been congratulating and very positive. And itâs really nice to see to be honest, so many well wishers from ourselves too but even new people, very nice sentiments anyways.
I heard the other forums this debate goes on have been celebrating / positive there too.
Want more evidence? The Exodar DOES have a back door with a straight run to Velen! So Draenei may have been originally intended for the Horde! He he⌠ok enough of my silly conspiracy theories.
Pours one out for all the High Elf Homies that COVID took before the announcement.
I like how some of them are still salty.
If you think weâre bad, look at the people who got almost everything they wanted and are STILL up in arms about the little bit they didnât.
Yeah unfortunately that is wildly apparent. I wish people werenât so upset about others getting what theyâve wanted for over a decade.
Iâm really excited to see what other customization options Shadowlands brings, both for the void and blood elves, but also for every other race. I think they are going to impress us all!
Gotta give it time. We argued hard about this thing for over two years.
Only been a day. Theyâll get over it because it doesnât really affect them.
Iâm honestly glad that people are getting the options they want but people really need to get off of it and stop calling void elves, high elves.
Weâre not even getting a blond hair option. Weâre still going to look voidy.
I mean, sure thatâs it for some people. But for others itâs more of a worry of what this will bring. I mean, thereâs so many people out there demanding more and more out of this. I mean, Iâm seeing the stupid âMake Silvermoon Neutral/Alliance!â thing cropping back up. With the writing team, while I donât really fear them giving up Silvermoon, itâs the worry that this is going to turn it in to the good noble alliance elves vs the evil shifty horde elves, since you know horde has to be evil.
Itâs a worry that by opening up this much that the story can be changed, like story has changed before, to turn a story of a rough patch where hard choices were made to survive into how these elves just went straight up monster when they didnât have to. Weâll have to see how itâs handled.
