Druids maybe, Shamans no, Paladins are a high elf staple and probably more important to the race than even warriors.

This is the idea that was brought up.

Yeah them going more nature based is a dream of mine. I won’t be upset if they get pallies instead of druids, it would make plenty of people happy, I just personally would prefer a helf druid over a paladin and also really love the idea of helf shaman.

In the realm of possibility i’d say.

1. Paladin
2. Shaman
3. Druid

I had never thought of a HE druid over a paladin until discussing HE’s getting all 3 of these classes. I don’t think they should get all 3, and of the 3 I think Paladin should go.

Well, people do have every right to post there thoughts with the Blood Elf story. Just because you disagree with it doesn’t mean it is netherless true or false. After all, as I have said, there is gaps with the Blood Elves to there inception to them joining the Horde. (All because of this reason which was said by the Lead Game Designer back in 2006)

You like the Blood Elf story, that is fine. But everyone is different and everyone does have different opinions on the Blood Elf story.

I also find it odd my opinion on HE’s having access to basically the most popular classes, Druid, Shaman, and Paladin, is so attacked.

And regardless of if it makes sense or not (quite frankly I sense a contrarian nature to go against the grain, which is fine, btw, that’s an observation that is my OPINION, and not meant to denigrate).

Part of the reason I debate so vehemently is I really DESPISE having to leave debates at a “Agree to Disagree”. maybe I’m obsessed with just HAVING to be correct or get the last word…or being self-righteous…my own issues…
To me, leaving it at that (agree to disagree), doesn’t settle any differences. It doesn’t change any minds (mine or yours). When I engage with someone, I give them a chance to change my mind.

You have not provided ANY REASON to suggest Paladin should leave that makes sense to me. And apparently, none of my counter arguments or dissenting opinions have changed your mind or otherwise made sense to you either.

But whatever. I guess “Agree to Disagree” it is.

I thinking Druid for High Elf would be fine, but if we keep the Paladin away from the High Elves, then it might keep one thing destinct between both factions with:
“Horde has no Elven Druids, the Alliance has no Elven Paladins”.

That is my own opinion. I would love to be an Elven Shaman though, but I have very little knowledge in that part of the lore to know whether High Elves can be Shamans or not.

So when people crap on BE story others love, its okay we can’t disagree with people crapping on it because their entitled to their opinion. Even though disagreement is my opinion?

And my opinion preference on class selection isn’t valid despite it being my opinion? Perhaps tell others to respect a difference of opinion, thanks.

People, including you, crap on the night elf story too. I don’t think requesting a class that fits a race is crapping on another race as much as blaming everyone but sylvanas for the genocide she committed and furthermore wanting her to come back as the horde leader leaving nelf fans to wonder what the heck we even play for anymore.

I’m a big fan of having glyphs come back in some regard.

Especially if they feel they went too far in the unpruning.

Well…then quite frankly, make some abilities into glyphs. NOT WHOLESALE. Not a huge, all-encompassing system like Diablo, but here and there.
Strategically.
Scalpel.
Not Sledge Hammer.

Ex:
Exorcism / 7.0 Legion Blade of Wrath glyph (low holy damage, low cooldown, 2 HP generator) to replace current Blade of Justice.
