The horde shaman were there whipping up the wind to help the tree burn faster.

The druids outright should have objected to use of the blight and the burning of teldrassil. Even troll druids are supposed to be nature worshippers, so the destruction of nature should have been a point of contention several times.

ALL the shamans or only the ones affiliated to the Horde´s army? Cause I clearly remember Earthen Ring Shamans chilling around in Silithus at the time.

Nonetheless, the refusal of Blizz to portray properly the spiritual response of druids and shamans regarding the burning of Teldrassil DOES negatively impact the Horde druids and shamans lorewise speaking.

Blizz devs were too busy with Sadfang soap opera and Cartoonish Villain Sylvanas to even portray how the rest of the leaders felt regarding Teldrassil… they waited until tyhe next patch and that was unforgivable taking into account the severity of the crime.

Heck, I think I start to see a pattern here, and not precisely one involving elf evolution but more like demon influence…

Again, Legion Class Hall says “Hi”. Heck, Shadowland´s alpha Orgrimmar say “Hi” (now that wasthe aberration of all aberrations… poor Z Pallies, not even an expac just like Belves).

What blizzard needs to do is modify the look of the spells or expand the glyphs so folk can be what they should be.

So people reasoning ear sliders into something it’s not especially when a lot of it is coming from pro HE fans as they see it as a perceived slight I just don’t see it as such.

It is especially abhorrent and annoying cause it´s the most ironic thing ever “qqq, muh playable Helf, muh diversity, muh different culture!!” “How dare Blizz give other races muh headcanoned and non existant gameplay model exclusive features!!”

Sorry guys, but Blizz is the actual owner of the artistic models, not you. Ergo, it´s totally fair whatever they deem correct to modify it, period.

It’s why I had such trouble playing Alliance this expansion I felt a traitor to my favorite character in the franchise.

That said I once again like seeing Sylvanas as an example of the division of HEs and BEs with HEs on alliance arguably more aligned and relate more to Vereesa or Alleria.

The horde shaman. I do wish we had seen how the elements reacted. I mean in some cases the elements are being controlled, like with goblin shaman, or dark shaman, but that’s not supposed to be the majority of horde shaman.

I imagine the HE customizations would include the entirety of diversity / range we now see from BEs that I am happy to see.

I find your idea interesting anyways, but I still think we will see HEs as their own slot, highlighting their distinction from BEs hopefully and nothing even remotely along the lines of neutral Thalassian race I’ve seen float about.

I also on a small level dislike the idea of VE customization to throw HEs into because it kind of takes away from the niche appeal of VEs, we already see High Elf fans push their narrative back onto Blood Elves to the point they deny all BE lore… would they do the same thing to hijack the VE appeal?

And the same thing with Night Elves in your idea.

I find it almost imperative they are their own thing.

More emphasis on Void customization for them would be amazing, give me actual void tentacles out of my back, or void tattoos and almost complete Void glowing arms and legs like we see the broken rocking in Argus.

And the same thing with Night Elves in your idea.

Almost 80% of Night elf Art I see has them with mountains of moon jewelry and every Herbalism plant on the planet in their hair, the fact that Blood elf get body jewelry/ear length/and crowns before one of the originals core Alliance races gets an iconic look of nature on their head is outrageous.

Like just make World of Blood Elf craft and stop pretending to care about other races.

You can be against the idea as much as you want. I’m just saying I’d be fine with it.

Blood elves and nightborne both have shown, in game, the ability to do so.

The legion class hall doesn’t change Tauren Paladins except to see them choose to join their forces with The Silver Hand. The order was rebuilt with them. They’re still druids using the sun as their focus from their point of view. Their class is paladin.

And given that the order halls must have fallen apart immediately after for bfa to be a thing, it’s kinda moot.

Oh I think it was.

But the other leaders sure as hell didn’t know that. They just watched their Warchief start a war, they were on the fence about, with the intent to capture the night elven capital to hold hostage, and instead she has an apparent tantrum and slaughtered the night elves… Dooming the Horde to a long hard fought battle.

All of the Horde should have had plenty of reason to kick her butt right there.

Yes my VE, and just in general it didn’t sit right with me to fight the Horde in the war. Though I was ever so tired of being a mage, now I have a warlock all is well again.

I do think all races are getting nice things though, I’m still waiting for Dark Ranger undead BE customization we really haven’t even seen that much in all honesty. And we weren’t even the first race to show off new hairstyles I was waiting to see what hairstyles we would be getting (in terms of BEs).

But on the bright side a lot of stuff would work for HEs too. The new diversity that is coming with customization for example should be very welcomed and apply to HEs when they are added.

Uhhh not the same jewerly? I mean the artistic choices made for Belves are VERY different from official Nelf art. Quite the opossite, they´re more human-esque than anything.

Blood Elves have always identified with her, and as seen in Orgrimmar are the race most common to be in chains as having been loyalists on the same level Forsaken were.

What I take from that is what I’ve always taken from it, BEs align with Sylvanas (not all but in general). What I like from that is HEs do not align with Sylvanas. I would like to see more of Vereesa’s thoughts on the war, maybe an updated sister novel where we can see their thoughts post war. Maybe set up Vereesa to officially unite the HE groups.

What are you talking about? I simply clarified it was horde shaman who were using the elements to help burn the tree faster, and obviously it was only the ones at Teldrassil who would have done so. I think we’re miscommunicating somehow here.

Indeed, casue your response seemed to imply the actions of the Shaman present at Teldrassil = global Shaman sentiment across the Horde.

And sorry, but nope. This is not correct. As a matter of fact devs haven´t had the decency of portraying the actual global stance of Shammies and Druids across the Horde regarding the WoT just like they couldn´t be bothered to portray the racial leader´s stance before Baine´s trial (A.K.A. too late to make it worthy and fix the corruption on the NPC´s development. All and every Horde racial leader ended up looking as willing croonies precisely cause they were never portrayed complaining apart from Sadfang).

Definitely as long as it’s not just copy pasted from Blood elves and differentiates itself.

In fact all of that should apply to every race in game, worgen should get tails and straight backs, machegnomes should get more mech-options, Pandaren should be allowed to not be one size fits all, give me a belly slider, same with Kul Tirans.

Indeed. That -their imperfections- is what makes them awesome. They have grown a lot in comparison to the bland portrayal of WC2. They´re closer to the actual Tolkien elf (who were a-holes themselves and looked down upon the pitiful mortals or the dirty dwarves).

High elves like the Alleria or Veeresa continue being poorly written overdone examples on the Arwen trope, just with more pronounced trophy wife vibes in the case of Veeresa, no more and no less.

Dude, literally the biggest jewerly is the phoenix wing put on the lobe of the ear. Not even remotely similar to NB jewerly nor much less Nelf art. The rest are but glorified recolors from the jewerly we had had since TBC.

Nightborne in Legion was particularly ok, but i guess that was because they actually copy-pasted a good story (TFT to TBC Belf one).

Still no excuse for the aberration of narrative used with Alleria (wonderful milenium life… while her king withered by reasons? And even more amazing how her spider sense took her towards Umbric et al at the most convenient time!!), the Velves (invest in a VERY questionable magical source and become a WoW X-men!! at the same time recognize your Boss was right in firing you U.U), or Veeresa (blame a whole race for the sins of a cousin -frankly looks like a dig towards some players now that i think about it- and act like a bumbling moron and an incresingly irrelevant trophy wife).
