When it comes to short ears, Iām not jumping to any conclusions.
More like Horde druids should be expelled from the Cenarion Circle and they should make their own club. It is indeed retarded to imagine druids from the same races that screwed up monumentally MalfurionĀ“s race chilling out as if nothing happened.
Also, it is time to stop this fallacy of putting Horde NPCs and PCs as subservient to Alliance / Alliance flavored NPCs and organizations. It was disgusting in Legion popst purge and it will be disgusting too regarding druids in the future.
Well, itĀ“s more probable to deem the choice as one directed to fix players complains on gameplay features like transmog than to believe this is RP and suddenly the elves of the factions becoming full of hybrids for the lols (heck the lore actually works AGAINST the RP notion. Lorewise, half elves ARE rare and ARE looked down upon by the elves).
Because as I have said before, thatās how they have been depicting Half Elves.
And there has never been a depiction of a short eared elf that wasnāt a half elf in the lore as of yet.
So when people see it they are going to think āOh, Half Elfā rather itās intended or not.
So thatās what people are seeing it as.
I just, with the fact that even tauren npcs were captanining ships dropping blight on things on behalf of a banshee, after helping her burn a world tree, are any of them actually druids?
The nightborne came up with the same thing. So clearly heās not alone. Itās reasonable to believe the blood elves have this knowledge.
As long as blizzard has an explanation for the various orders all races should easily have access to any class available. The lore makes them unique.
Tauren Paladins are effectively Druids who focus on the sun.
Kulātiran Shaman hear their Tidemother.
What blizzard needs to do is modify the look of the spells or expand the glyphs so folk can be what they should be.
Soā¦ I disagree?
I hate to run this lineā¦ But theyāre not responsible for Sylvanas.
The ones who did participate? Yes. They should be thrown out or at least questioned.
Though I never saw any Tauren druids in BFAā¦ (npcs)
But their stance on including diversity (a move I applaud by the way) is that it was always diverse and these are long over due customizations.
So people reasoning ear sliders into something itās not especially when a lot of it is coming from pro HE fans as they see it as a perceived slight I just donāt see it as such.
I also think it should go without saying they are Half Elves because Half Elves are assumed half human? So they would be associated with the Alliance HE population and the human population of the Alliance.
Uhhh Alodi has a full human model? And Kalecgos has a full human model with blue hair? And VeeresaĀ“s children basically only exist in comics but have never ever been portrayed in game? And Arathor has basically a regular Blood elf playable model?
Man, I think devs have never ever portrayed half elvesā¦
Well, unless those Tauren npcs were druids, I suppose Nelves could hardly fault them for the crimes of the other Tauren. Nonetheless, the refusal of Blizz to portray properly the spiritual response of druids and shamans regarding the burning of Teldrassil DOES negatively impact the Horde druids and shamans lorewise speaking.
But then again, Tauren and Trolls deserved better than to become the glorified followers of Malfurion et al -especially Trolls considering they had the whole Loa and Gonk stuffā¦ and yes since Cata the DK had the Gonk thing; it was idiotic to see them following the Nelves as good little pets in Legion-.
If anything positive like ending with the BS āneutral but actually heavily Alliance oriented / flavored organizationā can be obtained from the disaster that was the WoT, then IĀ“m all for it. Let the Nelves keep their CC, it is time the Horde druids look for better pastures by themselves elsewhere.
Hey, How do you think these helfers are going to justify their argument in the case devs put short ears too on Nelf NPCs? Heck, how to justify a āshort eared Jaredā.
Now that would be a bomb.
It may have been mentioned in here but I think itās possible that they may just roll High Elves into the Night Elf customization options. I would be fine with this personally. As weāve seen already Night Elves are strangely getting Blonde hair as a new hair color option which seems out of left field. A lot of the male Night Elf tattoos look pretty similar to High Elf tattoos from some of the old WC2 concepts.
Another thing imo that makes High Elves being rolled into Night Elves possible is the new ear options for Blood Elves. Blood Elves are getting some new ear size/shape options. Night Elves could get the same thing to give them proper High Elf ears. Maybe even a secondary height option that would put them on the height of a Blood Elf.
Still donāt see how you all see blonde and not orange.
The horde shaman were there whipping up the wind to help the tree burn faster.
The druids outright should have objected to use of the blight and the burning of teldrassil. Even troll druids are supposed to be nature worshippers, so the destruction of nature should have been a point of contention several times.
Wouldnāt these new things just play up Highborne customization not High Elves as they are kinda separate as a race?
Interesting take, I find VEs getting HE customization more likely but I myself am in favor of an actual designated spot. But at the end of the day I prefer BEs so I would be curious to see what HE fans who prefer HEs think.
Lets be honest a whole LOT of different groups should have cut off Sylvanasā head right thenā¦
And being further honest with the order halls and everything none of BfA would have happened.
Iām a big High Elf supporter and would personally choose for High Elves to be their own race/allied race. But if them being rolled into Night Elves with the proper hair colors, peachy/pale skin & everything else they needed made them playable I would accept it. They would have all the classes they needed (minus paladins but those could be added) and theyād even have druids as well which is a cool fan concept of the Highvale Elves.
Death Knights alone should have known whats up with Sylvanas from the get go after Legion. But it seems all death knights that have been risen from the dead have developed memory loss or something of the shadowlandsā¦Yet when Sylvanas dies and returns, no such memory loss existsā¦
Yeah, Iāve been trying to figure out if it says anywhere how the other horde leaders felt about Teldrassil. No luck so far.
Blizzard didnāt explain enough about their feelings or their action this entire expansion. focused too much on Sylvanas twirling her mustache and Saurfang feeling bad.
The illusion of player choice horde side is lousy too. None of my characters would have waited to turn on her, and even those who do turn on her still have to follow orders from her and her court jester all expac.
Yeahā¦ its the main reason I have so much trouble playing my Horde main this expac. >.< Its just so dumb to assume heād have participated at allā¦ especially after Teldrassil.
At least with Theramore Garrosh planned it from the beginning and didnāt tell anyone except his main supporters.
Sylvanas just had a tantrum and slaughtered a people she was meant to be taking prisoner.
