they would be their own race. I believe they are very different and deserve to either be an allied race or a base race.
Unfortunately, it isnât
You keep thinking that, and whatever else helps you get thru the day
I thought were done here?
because the sum total of both practically fill only one large sized city each, 90% of High elves were wiped out, of the remaining 10% roughly half stayed High elves and the other half fled to Outland or became the Quelthalas Blood elves. Granted the game mildly hints at the fact that both can probably have kids, so maybe both populaces grew just a tad bit?
Thank you! I agree. I canât back undead night elves though, but itâs a good list overall.
Lol Iâd play those high elves as appose to the blood elves purely on posture. They at least donât look like they have a Dâ in their butt.
They wanted that passive aggressive smiley face to really show me just how done they really were.
Yeah itâs possible both races have had offspring since then.
Both races are functionally ânear extinctionâ so thereâs probably hella incentive to go out and procreate. But that stuff was still 15 years ago, so weâre like three years away still from any of those new births being old enough to be the next Champion of Azeroth.
shadowlands timeskip anyone? seriously it is needed for multiple reasons. give us a good 5 years have passed when we come back from shadowlands.
So if Void Elves and Silver Covenant Elves join forces and build an Alliance city, or shared town, what do you think it would look like?
Iâd love to see some of the Silver Moon architecture updated. Perhaps Alliance colors but a bit muted. Elegant spires with lots of silver and deep blues. Maybe some starry, void themed gardens with fantastical flowers , void sparkle butterflies ?
that would be nice to see. Some of the HE buildings are nice. I would love to see an evolves one mixed with void elf designs.
noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
A time skip would actually be great and help them develop playable high elves like they did NB. More than 5 years though, of course.
I was just about to speculate on that, as if I remembered correctly when Elves had their immortality an adult was considered 75 as the age of maturity âŚ
I am not opposed to having WoW have the full 40-50+ years told in expansions until we get to the final battle however at that rate with be 100 or so years IRL before we get to the end.
Timeskips are a bit of a necessity and shadowlands is the perfect time for it. Come back to an azeroth that hasnât had itsâ heroes for 5 or more years. Old world revamp expansion. Characters have aged up and are now usable while others such as anduin have had time to grow and learn the hardships without our aid.
I imagine genn will die in shadowlands and regardless Genn is almost certainly coming with us whether he dies or not so that whole time anduin wouldnât have one of his top advisors.
according to WoWpedia elves reach their maturity by around 20 years.
Idk⌠Iâd rather not have ANOTHER elf race. Iâd like to see something new.
See, itâs not clear if thatâs mental or biological maturity. Itâs extremely disadvantageous for a race to go 75 years without the ability to reproduce, so.
Wrong, negative, nuh uh, donât want it.
WoW has enough holes in its lore. It doesnât need a sudden five-year gap on LITERALLY EVERYTHING to create more holes that will never get filled.
I like the idea of subraces. That would have been better than allied races.
High elves are an iconic Horde race and making them playable on the Alliance would infringe on the Hordeâs identity. Just as Horde shouldnât get playable humans Alliance shouldnât get playable high elves, unless they are sufficiently differentiated from Blood Elves like Void Elves.
Additionally playable Alliance high elves is the most banal option there is, like giving Alliance another horse mount. With limited allied race slots, the Alliance deserves something other than solidifying itself as the most basic fantasy trope. Alliance should receive something that differentiate them from the Horde and every other common fantasy cliche, like sethrak. With Shadow Lands launching soon, promising new and interesting races, I hope we get something unique to the Alliance that also makes WoW more⌠WoW.
Keep WoW weird, say âNo!â to playable Alliance high elves.
