To be fair I did recently meet several Pro HE supporting people who blatantly deny BEs being HEs.

In both cases what’s important here is not all HEs are BEs. Perhaps this person meant well.

At the end of the day we do not know if these models are PCs still, and even if they are it takes no validity from wanting Quel’dorei who never became Sin’dorei away. It may even be a way to appease BE players before they add HEs post or during Shadowlands as alluded in the April fools joke. That’s just my two cents of optimism though.

what they mean is bes no longer call themselves hes. dont wanna be hes. and even were ever so slightly changed because of fel irradiation, but thats been mostly healed by the sunwell’s repair.

No I asked for elaboration and they fully meant they aren’t HEs in any regard. And I had to just move on from that conversation.

What I mean to get at is there’s people on both sides who ignore lore or attempt to get a reaction out of others, don’t let it get you down Hyper!

High Elves being playable as an entire slot in the selection screen is questionable, though I do think you should be able to make your Blood Elf or Void Elf look like High Elf if you so desire, I mean you should be able to make anything look like whatever; but it’s logical to me that even lore-fully any of these elves and trolls and whatever are all capable of getting the same type of eyes. They all come from the same place.

i disagree with this statement, i think blood elves now have a desire to return to the golden age of quel’thalas, back when they were high elves.

i’m not saying they’re gonna start calling themselves high elves, the name blood elves is an important part of their culture after all, but i see them trying to push things closer to what it used to be.

that’s a big part of why they exiled the void elves imo, it’s them saying that that bc era belf mindset of power at any cost is no longer acceptable

oh take the dang eye color. i dont give a rats patootie about the eye color. i was interested in the skin colors, the darker ones for our half elves but nope belfs got that too. man one of those devs has a sweety thats a belf. gotta be. never seen anything like this

Blood elves and high elves generally use the same assets. If blood elves got it, they’ll use it for high elves as well since its just easier. No need to make a separate folder for skin colors when you can just script it to use whats in the blood elf folder.
