As predicted, Blue Eyes are not available for Blood Elves in character creation in the Alpha. Sorry if that bums the High Elf haters out.
I feel ya on this one. Iâve been a big supporter of Half Elves, and human-esque skin tones were one of the ways in which they could possibly be identified
That doesnât make Half Elves any less viable as theyâd surely have a unique model, but it does muddy the water a bit
Bro, chill. Void Elves suck, but at least Blizzard made somewhat of an attempt to listen to our requests.
What we should be doing now, since Blizzard obviously care more about what the Horde want, is asking for them to make Void Elves into something we care about. All of us in the High Elf community should be focusing on Void Elves now(if Blue Eyes are confirmed for Blood ELves, that is⊠which they arenât).

so, now whats the next move guys? the fanfiction artwork is officially pointless. blood elves are the high elves. they were always going to get updated at some point to reflect the lore. they are identical as we and the lore always claimed
the SC might be dead or tied up with the unseen path. it doesnt matter if they are pro alliance, they will never appear attacking the horde again without the context that dalaran has picked a side again. we all know it. they are neutral
blizzard can continue to add an occasional portal keeper. you guys can fanfiction theres a massive unseen population behind it as usual⊠and this is the best part it doesnt matter. that is perfectly fine because a few individuals do exist and its in line with how alliance high elves are presented in game and in the lore, a rare thing. but copying a horde race was never happening. this should have been learned from void elves
it wasnt. you got your hopes up again and we told you last year! when ion said specifically eye color customization is guaranteed and they want more options
you cant pretend this is business as usual. so whats the argument now?

just for the record, iâm eccentric old woman, 60 years old in real life. was in a coma for a few days and when i woke up the doc said i had the mental maturity of a 16 year old. iâm hoping thats the problem and not that iâm getting senile.
Thereâs still plenty of actual Alliance-aligned High Elves that donât associate with Silver Covenant. Theyâre not going to suddenly disappear. And I really doubt theyâre going to betray the Alliance, especially the High Elves in Hinterlands that were protected by Wildhammer Dwarves. But if Blizzard do just give you guys their blue eyes, I really think we should focus on making Void Elves into something badass.

If Blood Elves = High Elves, and Void Elves = Blood Elves = High Elves⊠just give Void Elves some Alleria customization options and letâs be done with it.

But thatâs old world content, at that time Horde didnât even have elves.
We have High Elves in the 7th Legion. You can find the most recently added ones in BfA. Before then they appeared in WoTLK.

But make something out of the Hinterlands, which is old content⊠Who knows what happened to those high elves there? They could be dead or moved to Dalaran.
and veressa windrunner, ya know sylvannasâ sister, shes the leader of the silver covenant she flies with ya to isle of thunder in pandaria, and sets up a base of operations along with the kirin tor and you do quests for them and get faction with them
I said especially them, not specifically Lol. They have more reason to stay with the ALliance than most High Elves, Iâd imagine. Either way, it doesnât really take away from my point.
If Blizzard donât want us having that aesthetic, then obviously weâre not going to get it. We should make threads for new Void Elf content.
