preach it brother

Welp, I seem to have forgotten the name of this annoying know-it all that speaks for the planet itself
but that’s one they “lost” too.

Magni, that’s his name.

A shame they never exploited the whole thing with the council of the threee hammer, now that I think about it.

As long as some good came out it. Lol!

They will. This is true. But Teldrassil was one hell of a hit.

And we really don’t see much payoff for such an emotional and heavy hit to night elf players. It sucks.

Also most of us don’t sing the praises of Tyrande “my love” Whisperwind.

Her getting empowered and then failing to take down a middling hero like Nathanos was quite a let down.

I honestly don’t think so either
But I’ll remain hopeful if only for my own sanity.

I really really like the night elves
could you tell?

I don’t care.

I’m not going to sacrifice any and all enjoyment of my preferred race in the game just so you can feel better about what the devs did to us all at my expense. I’m sorry that you too feel slighted by the story, and wish there was a solution, but I’m not gonna support any nonsense that punishes me for what I was not responsible for and which frankly, I would have been much happier having Alliance burn down TB rather than burning down Teldrassil.

But seriously, both factions does have there huge downside. Can’t just say, “oh, we just gotta feel pity for the Horde losing a Warcheif” when there is scenarios of stuff happening to the Alliance.

Honestly it has come to the point I think I understand Sylvanas better than the rest of the Horde. Sure she used them for her nefarious plans, but is clear she is doing her own thing at the end and she doesn’t care about petty politics. She’s evil, she has megalomaniacal goals, I get that.

But the rest of the horde? Like I can’t justify how they can remain “good” while willfully participating on the Night Elf genocide, and then doubling down the whole of BfA by continuing to follow Sylvanas. I main Horde, and the total lack of awareness that we just did a war crime and “welp we kinda have to get going!” was so effed up.

Like I call Saurfang a sad orc a lot but he had the only reasonable response to the situation, it was just him! My issue with the narrative is that we focused more on his inner turmoil at being complicit to another genocide, instead of, y’know, the victims of said genocide.

What I am saying is that the NE’s genocide was used as story fuel -and literal fuel!- instead of being about them. They were expendable in order to tell a story about morality on the horde.

If that’s not the biggest fridging I have seen in a while IDK what else can be.

So what I am saying, is that Shandris should have been a far more relevant character in the cinematics.

hahaha, no.

hopefully sylvannas’ flub ups can be believably explained. i dunno if thats possible though. but its not the players fault. youre gonna look awesome with yer new customizations, btw.

Wish that tactic worked. Way too many times I’ve tried to extend the olive branch of “It sucks for both sides in different ways” and got smacked across the face with it.

hahaha
why?

I had something to post but I lost my train of thought. I am going to go to bed I think. Bad headache and a possible ear infection is making it too hard to focus.

Fellow high elf fans, don’t lose hope.

Some people are just one-sided to a faction, and doesn’t fully understand much about the opposing faction that they play.

That’s not what I am asking. I’m not saying the Horde has to grovel for redemption or anything, I’m not asking the Horde to be punished; as I have said, my issues are with the alliance reaction to everything mostly. What I wanted is for the alliance to want accountability. This should have destroyed any possible peace.

This is not about the horde being the victimized -and I kinda resent you are going there- it’s about consequences that just don’t go away with a “my bad”, it’s about the Horde as a whole at least being AWARE they messed up big time, but understanding there’s nothing they can do and moving on, and about the alliance having another reaction beyond “same old, same old”

You just can’t end such a conflict with both sides just deciding to work together and let bygones be bygones. This should be an unfixable wound instead of “lol it was just Sylvanas fault!”

9S is possibly one of the best developed character a recent game.

But it was Sylvanas’ doing, and because of that the Horde felt into disarray, again, and the people she lead lost their home.
Did the Night elves get shafted? Of course, but they’re not the only ones.

Also, may I point out how incredibly dumb the entire thing was considering that she was one of the loudest voices against the attack on Theramore way back when but now she got triggered over a crying nelf and decided to burn that tree to the ground?

Not because it “sounds bad” but because it didn’t happen. A genocide requires intent, it needs to be deliberate and on top of that, the Horde doesn’t have the manpower nor the fire power (no pun intended) to carry it.
Did it cause a lot of damage? Yes.
Was it wrong? Of course.
Will the Night elves “never recover from it”? Highly doubt it.

Hoping Void Elves get a normal skin, eye and hair thing for SL.

Shush we’re bickering over Teldrassil right now!

How do you get a satisfying retribution for you, for the level of STUPID evil that blizz put on the Horde in a way that does not continue to punish the Horde player for the stupid blizzard writing?

Look, War of Thorns majorly offended me, and damned if I’m going to see the game have consequences for my character for the offense of the game screwing me over.
