Just wanted to pop in and say that I hope everyone is doing well during this pandemic. Stay safe, people

I do wish we got the other colored heritage sets that have floated around and been talked about :frowning:

Both decisions made complete sense from a lore perspective. Night Elves (Tyrande) would never trust Highborne (or their Nightborne genetic varient) not to keep right on using/abusing Arcane and the survivors of Dire Maul - before you bring up the people training Nelf mages - are literally a handful who are (go listen to the comments of the NPCs standing around them) not trusted by many of them/us.

Vulpera? That coffin was nailed shut, firmly:

You too, Lor. Thanks

Iā€™m thinking we toss the pieces in a vat of acid after sheā€™s dismembered.

Sounds like a plan!

I actually prefer the BFA system. Less time wasted on class sets forced to match the dungeon theme.

The problem is they keep following the trend of only having the Mythic Set bee good looking.

They could also afford to have a few cosmetic sets that are class specific every so often.

I liked 8.0 and 8.1. After that, each patch brought far less options.

What about dissolving her in a moon well? Starting with the head.

And the Purge Squad dealā€¦ what a weird scenario blizz created of the alliance with thatā€¦? I didnā€™t want vulpera on the alliance, but the player didnā€™t get to be involved.

The player originally was involved but people complainee and tbey axed it iirc.
Hence, alliance crying about nit getting vulpera is silly given the narrative.
Horde is perceived to get more because of 2 things.

  1. They started out with less since vanilla.
  2. Their request are much more feasible to accomplish.

Zandalari? Makes sense since its a troll type.
Maghar? Same thing as above though they should have just been a customization option.

Alliance players tend tk demand things that have issues design wise

IMO, I would be fine with alliance getting sethrak or jinyu instead of the mechagnomes, but that is my preference.
The mechagnomes are extremely well done.

Oh wait, please no - Elune only knows what tossing that dead, foul, thing into a Moonwell would do to it.

Re: Vulpera - if I recall correctly there actually was an Alliance-side scenario planned where they did attack the Vulpera but it was pulled. I can dig for citations on that, but I agree - the whole ā€œNo, we canā€™t have the players directly involved in doing that - itā€™s badā€ thing is garbage.

The alliance player typically has limited interaction/ conflict with Horde npcs.

Now granted bfa has allowed more than ever before. But prior to that? It was always a horde-like but non horde-affiliated group. Cata was bad for that.

Hmm agreedā€¦ too much edge for a perfectly healthy moon well.

Yeah, I suppose acid will do

Yeah, it occurs like that on the horde too. Alliance associated groups mostly with bfa having a more direct involvement.
Its odd how there is supposed to be faction conflict but it is largely underplayed.

Fire.
BY FIRE SHE BE PURGED

Another solid option, to be sure.

Maybe after sheā€™s burnt to a crisp the ashes and whatever bones didnā€™t turn to ash can then be tossed into the acid vatā€¦you know, just to be sure.

The PvP sets look badass imo.

" Iā€™m perfectly fine with leaving the primary history and themes and aesthetics of Quelā€™thalas with the blood elves - thatā€™s where it is, and thatā€™s where it belongs. But current high elves are those who pretty much by definition gave up their claim to that home and history - as said, the blood elves allow pilgrims, so they probably arenā€™t overly hostile to the still-high elves who acknowledge their rule, which to me implies that current high elves are only apart from the blood elves because they continually choose to stay apart. And, perhaps because Iā€™m from a family of immigrants, thatā€™s the theme and mindset I want to see explored."

I agree! And I want to know how the Void Elves feel about the High Elves that have chosen to stay with the Alliance. I think that there could be plenty of interesting interactions between the two groups. Are there families that were split apart- are their tearful reunions? Long held grudges and political animosity?
