Hard to say. At the moment, I am struggling to keep myself playing because of the direction this game has gone. It really does feel really dumb down so badly to the point it is extremely boring.

Depends on the Class tbh. imo, Warriors have the worse appearances, but Warlocks have the best.

I want to go back to class thematic tier sets but taken even further. They need to be even more representative of that class.
Blizzard said that it is tiresome to have 20 paladin sets and keep making more as an example yet half of those sets are too outdated for modern WoW and half of the second half are not even actually paladin themed.
Give me HD versions of all the vanilla-wrath sets. Give me new sets that embody the classic style of a paladin incorporating cloth and such.

I donāt plan too. In fact I believe blizzard should create HD remakes of all 3 colors of the armor.
Not just the tier 2 but the purple and limited time blue set as well.
In fact seeing as the blue set was only obtainable during the wrath pre launch event the shadowlands pre launch event that has us dealing with scourge assaults all around the world again would be the perfect time for a remastered version of it

One thing I wish Blizzard would bring back is class appearances. BfA sets are ugly and none of them suit any classes.

I think the faction-based sets were really good and Blizzard should have focused on that thematic.
Thereās a bigger problem in BfA sets than the raid-themed appearances, thought: lack of variety.
Blizzard said theyād compensate the lesser number of raid sets by adding more themes from different sources. For 8.0, they fulfilled that promise. But then things went downhill.
Letās compare Legion and BfA by number of set appearances (I wonāt count recolors, but I will count normal/elite versions separately).

Notice how variety went downhill over the patch cycle. Half of BfAās sets came in 8.0!
BfA did deliver more appearances than other expansions, BUT many of them are faction- or race-locked.
Of the 108 BfA sets, 40 are faction-locked, so each faction has 20 less appearances available than the total number of sets.
Also, 16 sets are race-locked, so you donāt have access to them unless you play that race.
Meanwhile, the class sets from Legion arenāt class-locked, as you can get them through raiding with other classes of the same armor type.

Remember though, Most Legion sets are class locked too.

Not really, you can get cross-class versions of them by raiding/farming world bosses.
So, while thereās only one leather appearance for a BfA set of a certain raid, in Legion a leather user could get up to 4 sets from a single raid. That makes a huge difference.
