High Elf POSITIVITY Thread 😎

I don’t take her numbers on the high elves seriously anyway.

Can’t really use numbers to determine anything. They’re widely irrelevant.

they want to play blood elves(high elves) on the alliance. its not about lore we all know this. because the SC have no lore. they are not a unique race. they are a crutch for veressa whenever SHE needs to have a story moment. time should not be wasted on this group. high elf lore is blood elf lore and vice versa. the story of the high elves is continuing in the blood elf story

After void elves, one NPC can become a race.

We have Blood Elves on the Alliance, and we can already play them. But we’re not talking about Blood Elves, we’re talking about the High Elves that remained Loyal to the Alliance and never called themselves Blood Elves.

However, a few high elves did not rename themselves blood elves. High elves and blood elves are physiologically the same race, and the difference between high and blood elves is only political.

can you prove every elf in the SC never accepted the rebranding? remember we are talking about ex farstriders who came running back in cata to defend the homeland. i find it unlikely that group didnt help drive back the scourge. it would take something like their people allying with the horde, who they did not want to join, to send them packing to dalaran, a city magister types are far more familiar with and aethas was already sitting on the council of six

I dont know if you misrepresent on purpose it has been stated many times, We asked to Play the High Elves that did not join the Sin’dorei, The High Elves that remain with, in, and support the Alliance, The same High Elves, The game, The Devs, The Lore, says there are High Elves and they are not called Sin’dorei,

Now you can say that they are little group that got trapped , separated or whatever, if they wanted to rejoin the Sindorei they would have, they dont. As Long as the Sin’dorei support the Horde doubt they ever will.

Aethas Sunreaver is a Blood Elf and was part of the Sunreavers.

yep and sitting on the council of six prior to wrath. why would a blood elf be sitting on the council of six immediately after dalaran was rebuilt? whats the implication?

Yeah, the Sunreavers is the Horde equilavant to the Silver Covenant. The Silver Covenant however is lead by Vareesa Windrunner and is Alliance.

And Aethas Sunreaver was on the Council of the Six prior to Jaina going on her little german killing spree when she purged the Sunreavers from Dalaran and the Kirin Tor after what Garrosh did.

They actually want to play the high elves that chose not to be blood elves, those outcasts you mentioned.

Don’t speak for me. I would absolutely love to play them for lore reasons. I’m sure others do too. Maybe others just want to have a blood elf in the alliance sure, but don’t assume it’s everyone.

An odd opinion. They are an entire faction with honestly more lore than some others.

True. But they are a faction of a race. One of the racial requirements according to blizz.

More recently it’s hard to argue with this. I would rather, personally, that blizzard stopped focusing so singularly on faction leaders and expanded their peoples… It’s one reason the horde has kinda lackluster leaders now… (they really need to kill horde leaders less without sensible replacement).

High elf lore is blood elf lore and high elf lore and void elf lore. Blood elves command the civilization, high elves live as outcasts and those who have reservations about the blood elves/horde, void elves venture down a new path.

Ignoring such is folly.

Now that said. Blizzard may decide to drop them, turn them into void elves, whatever. That’s their deal.

I have no problem with folk asking for high elves, and it’s perfectly sensible to have reasons that you might not want them.

I think we are all past the name shuffle game, and the numbers games, I think it all boils down to should be added or not, That is something DEvs will need to readdress since their first attempt wasn’t accepted by the Alliance Playable High Elves Fans, They failed, Until then these threads will continue.

If anyone’s interested in more art, I just made a Daz Studio render of my void elf fire mage, as a high elf.

i dont think anyone does. they are as likely as horde humans and most ignore it. but its the denial of lore that gets most antis imo. and im sure most of it is bait to keep antis coming back to argue so the thread stays alive. but blood elves are the high elves

this gripe of yours is grating. you reject void elves because they dont have light skin. thats the only reason. and it implies that a small group of traitors are the true high elves, and not the vast majority of the race which remained loyal to silvermoon and joined the horde. they should remain outcasts and irrelevant and if you want to play a high elf you should have to play the horde. this is just getting more ridiculous and selfish as time goes on :woman_shrugging:

Yep, I am horribly selfish for want at least one AR I’d really like.

3 random thoughts:

1: the background used there makes me feel like I should be approaching that character in like a slide show of still images ala Myst (just feels nostalgic)

2: Despite knowing better I still cannot help thinking that website is Deviant Tart when I see a URL from there

3: Awww, when I stalked through your con pictures you went the year after I made the trek out there so no seeing if I’m in them.

Again your wrong, They dont fit in the Lore of the faction I play,

What do these so called traitors represent in the game with your opinion not added.

Says who you? The Anties? Opinion again.

Again your wrong if i want to Play A Sin’dorei Play Horde,

Same can be said about anties, Since you are holding an entire Race hostage because you want them for yourself, to the extent you forget Why Sin’dorei change their names and not in the Alliance like the High Elves are.
