Honestly, I did like Sylvanas as who she was as the Banshee Queen when she wanted revenge on Arthas. The direction they have gone for Sylvanas proves that they are going for really bad story writing.

here we go again. blizzard was trying to inject a little nuance into the game, to show some complexity by using vereesa here. thats all it is. do you really not understand the sole context of vereesa in that moment is of a windrunner sister? it doesnt mean they are prepping the SC to break off from dalaran and become playable for the alliance :unamused:

ok lets pretend they take orders from stormwind and not dalaran

why do they need to be playable? why should the high elf story shift from the blood elves to a group of sad outcasts clustered in a corner of dalaran? why do they deserve story time and focus? :woman_shrugging: :unamused: :roll_eyes:

all high elves are from quel’thalas, but not all humans come from stormwind :wink:

if you really love high elves then accept the story moved on and that the race is playable on the horde

If you really love blood elves, stop calling them high elves when they changed their name.

Accept that they made different choices and no longer live in quel’thalas together and have different values.

this is just like with saraslam asking me not to cite population because it hurts the pro argument. but again the devs are the one who keep bringing it up. from pops to the fact that a blood elf IS a high elf

from metzen to kaplan to hazzikostas

the whole race is the blood elves and what you refer to as the ‘high’ elves are really just a sad, pathetic and small group of outcasts who dont even have a point to the story now that void elves are here. they can simply just use vereesa as needed for windrunner narratives while the SC can simply be presumed dead or what remained stayed with the unseen path never to be heard from again. the end
