High Elf POSITIVITY Thread 😎

That cinematic tears me up every time. A week or 2 before the cinematic came out. We had to put down my favorite dog, he died in my arms. And watching this when it first came out reminded me of how my dog looked when he died. Tears were running down my face when I seen this the first time. Hell it still hits the feels now! Every time I watch this it brings tears to my eyes. :disappointed_relieved:

On another note, I must say the fan art of High Elfs do look just like blood elves with blue tattoos. Their model looks identical to me.

The pictures you are showing look more like half-elves not high elves.

The lore says that there are politically aligned High Elves who identify themselves as Alliance. Sure there are not many but they do exist and their population is greater than Void Elves. I saw a High Elf in 7th legion armor on the airship in Arathi the other day and I was like, what’s up muh homie!

its plausible there are more void elves then actual alliance high elves. i mean i just did a quest to collect 8 void elf heads for gonk. but its more likely the alliance high elves have an extremely low population and coupled with their lack of distinctiveness from the blood elves, means they arent worth the effort to make playable in a faction based game(duh) :woman_shrugging:

oh, and grats you found one of the 4 easter eggs in bfa

  1. In game numbers are not canon numbers.
  2. Ion has already describe the numbers of Void Elves as an Elite-Crack Squad. And a squad usually is a small group.
  3. Stop playing the numbers game.

I’m surprised this has to be said so often  I’ve paid attention enough to the conversation to have seen it refuted every time

So that means the amount of NPCs one sees should never be used as a proof of population numbers, I agree and think that should apply to everything, not just Void Elves.

High elves are described as a minority remnants of remnants
and plenty of them were at Theramore.

Saying this might cost you some brownie points, since the pro side likes to do that often.

Everyone I have met who supports HE’s vary on opinions of things and show great consideration for everyones individual opinions, and I’ve yet to see anyone support a numbers game on that side. But if they did I would imagine agreeing to disagree is hardly the worst thing in the world.

Really? Because since 2012, a very common argument it’s the supposedly “high amount of NPCs” seen in game as proof that there’s a lot of them.

I find it funny that if communications with the rest of the alliance had been reestablished during the time garithos was active kael’thas would learn he out ranks garithos.

It is clear the leaders of the various nations of the alliance outrank any military commanders under the system stormwind has made.

I know you guys want to believe this is some kind of ‘amazing’ ‘art’
but it’s just terrible, imo.

Now, now. The art itself it’s not bad
if the second example wasn’t such a blatant tracing of the blood elf model.

But imo, what’s more funny is that the sharing of that image doesn’t really help the “we totally don’t want to take anything from the Horde, we want our own high elves!” retoric.

“Guys, High elves are not generic at all!”

I thought you didn’t lump people together

Uh? Ok?

How is making a joke over a generic art of a Elf used in a thread about High elves it’s making a generalization?

Also, I don’t generalize people. Fiction, in the other hand, it’s free real state. They’re pretty generic.

Oh okay just a broad generalization mocking the caricature of what you think represents peoples statements who support High Elves.

Personally I think the art is lovely, and admire anyone able to draw.

Oof, already with the reaching?

It ain’t gonna work with me.

It’s just art. Why rag on it? Folk like the idea and drew stuff. Let’s just leave it there. Artists get enough hate day to day.
