High Elf NPC Eye Change?

Sorry im new to the discussion could you give me a quick tldr of why blood elves would get violet eyes? lore based of course.

Arcane. Vereesa has actually had this eye color since BC.

Arcane tint. It’s quite literally the eye color of arcane explosion / arcane missles. Historically, arcane has been represented by blue as a form of pure mana, but this lore reason could just hint that some blood elves have taken arcane mastery to another level and it’s effected them differently or something.

The Sunwell has been holy / arcane split down the middle since its restoration back in BC.

Pretty sure that their eye colour can change depending on which energy they’re slurping up at the time.

The Sunwell is half Arcane and half Light now. And they were Arcane users prior to its change. Belfs were said to eventually be able to go back to their original eye color.

Yeah, she doesn’t look that different with the skin tones now. And hers was from a Naaru. So it’s bound to be different. Which is why I liked my idea. I mean, ffs, those scholars have been out there studying this stuff for almost two years now. They should’ve figured something out by now! LOL

Actually alleria was a void elf before the Naaru, she was already void infused due her training, the naaru just made her super powerful.

This is what you said. The eye color does not belong to void elves. It has not belonged to anyone. It is a new arcane-related color. Because it has not belonged to anyone means that it doesn’t mean anyone should get anything.

Purple is not new, void elves got it in live currently. What is new for velves is the type of eye while for belves is purple in itself.

I would disagree very heavily considering the purple born from the bug is also got some pink in it. It looks nothing like the void, and every void related eye coloration we have seen is typically red. IE: N’zoth, C’thun, etc.

I disagree with this too, if you look at the eyes it looks exactly like the velves hair texture.

Here’s a good rundown for you from the lore:

Blood elf eyes glow with magical energy, the color of which depends on the individual elf’s source of power, or prolonged exposure to a certain kind of magic.

In World of Warcraft , blood elves have access to varying shades of four eye colors:

• Green, denoting fel corruption. When the Sunwell was destroyed, the blood elf magisters rebuilt Silvermoon using demonic energies; living in proximity to this gave many blood elves fel-green eyes.^[37] The corruption will fade eventually, but the process takes time.^[24]

• Gold, signalling a connection to the Light-infused Sunwell. With the blood elves’ fount of power restored, the well has cleansed some blood elves’ fel corruption.^[38] Blood elf paladins and priests, who are attuned to the Light and linked closely to the Sunwell, are commonly depicted with golden eyes.

• Blue, their natural high elven eye color.^[39] This was a character customization option added in Shadowlands , to give the blood elves (and void elves) high elf customization options.

• Light purple, likely representing arcane energy, as the raw substance of arcane power is often depicted as violet. They also have a defined iris and white sclera.^[40]

Same reason the Helfs never changed: they can actually live without it. Not to mention, Velfs have a lot of power coursing through them now, anyway.

Helfs and Nelfs are a bit similar in the way that they learned how to draw their need for Arcane from nature itself, innately and without the need of a huge power source.
