They gave high elf customization to both groups. High elves have purple eyes too when absorbing arcane artifacts (Valeera did this). So lore wise it makes sense since both had purple eyes as high elves.

Can’t speak for the OP but what I would like to see for Velfs is a toggle for the tentacles. Make hairstyles that aren’t Dracula widow peaks or Daryl Dixon greasy mops (not Belf styles). More colors, similar to what Nelfs get, not he warm Belf colors.
