High Elf Love Thread! đŸ„°

No, they’re not.

What about them?

We’re asking for a whole different model so :man_shrugging:t2:

You guys should be asking yourselves however why Blizzard is still maintaining a difference in eye color between High Elves and blue-eyed Blood Elves (if such option is ever implemented).

Why would I? They’re using the same model currently.

Aside from the obvious, they’re not going to worry about npcs.

I don’t see any reason to think these eye colors will not be available to blood elves, nor do I have any reason to believe they won’t be also applied to current in game high elves.

It’s so early to just guess at that stuff.

But in the end eye color has nothing to do with High Elves vs. Blood Elves.

Mate either put them all in one post or give it a rest. Bumping threads is a bit sus.

It’s not about preference or priorities. It’s a technical issue, actually. They can’t update Blood Elf eyes without updating High Elf NPC eyes because they’re using the same model.

The same thing happened with the latest update to eye glow. All elves, including Void Elves, were affected by it.

I doubt the High Elf NPC eye color will be available to playable Blood Elves. Mainly because High Elf NPC eyes don’t glow at all (except the Wayfarers in Telogrus Rift who for some reason have the DK eyes). Other blueish options? Sure. I was never against that, as it doesn’t affect our petition.

Yeah, you should probably chat (as Guzzle would put it) with your friends here about it.

Its not about eye color or skin tone. I support High Elves you dolt. (I mean dolt playfully here. )

The teal color eyes the high elves have look very much like the initial photos we see of blood elf eyes.
Why do you never post the male high elf eyes which have the teal glow to them? Are they not high elf in game models?

Shalassian and Darnassian is languages. Not a race.

Lets not start the Thalassian thing again. Its the same. Darnassian, Shalassian are the languages but can also be used for their people. If you’re from Darnassus, where the Night Elves moved the majority of the civilization, you can claim to be Darnassian.

Same for the Shalassians. They’re from Suramar and call themselves Shal’dorei. Shalassian.

They are actually, Nightborne are confirmed to be a separate race from night elves in the lore segment of the Legion announcement at Blizzcon and also Chronicles.

God, remember what happened last time we had this discussion.

Go to telogrus rift dude

Blue eyed blood elves with the same assets?

I mean, if you think low rez blue eyes are meaningfully different then that is simply looking more into things.

I don’t think we need another thread, the other could come off lockdown and there are plenty of High Elf threads around atm.

Oh I know that!

What I meant is that many people, including many antis, don’t know the difference between fair-skinned blue-eyed Thalassian elves and High Elves.

They look almost identical to Void Elf eyes, which honestly means they’ve given a Void Elf option to Blood Elves.

Am I to assume it’s okay to request green, gold, purple, or pure white eyes for my Void Elf? It would be only fair, after all.

Well, while that may be true I do not personally consider Void Elves to be all that different from Blood Elves, even if they can’t connect to the Sunwell anymore they are still just basically Blood Elf Shadow Priests and Blizzard has done absolutely zilch to flesh out their race lore to properly build them up as a valid concept that can exist within Warcraft’s universe and be different from Blood Elves. In the same way that they actually did for Nightborne, who got excellent worldbuilding and cultural intrigue in them by contrast.

Might as well make Blood Elf Death Knights and Demon Hunters a different race because they arguably can’t connect with the Sunwell either being infused with dark magics and whatnot.

It always does.

Youve turned increasingly antagonistic lately.

Oh trust me, after seeing the whole debacle unfold and having been harassed by multiple high elf for the alliance supporters purely because I think races shouldn’t be mixed across factions, I definitely know It’s high elf supporters from personal experience. Most people on the forums can tell you have no clue what you’re talking about

I know what they did, the forums know what they’ve done and how toxic they are I don’t care what you believe. You’re wrong and blind to the truth. examples are literally all around you in the forums. I’m not going to sift through and find every example and post it here for you.

Probably because you never were if you honestly don’t believe high elf for the alliance supporters are literally the epitome of toxicity on these forums

Yeah but it all started because of HOW toxic high elf supporters are, that’s the whole point. Nobody cared until people, like me, disagreed with the races being mixed and were attacked and harassed / mass reported for having a differing opinion.

It’s not false and I don’t have to sift through and provide proof. It’s all around us in the forums almost daily.

Right? It’s like she just closes her eyes to the plethora of terrible things pro high elf alliance players have done and say I don’t have to do anything, everyone knows about it.

Could you provide that screen shot by the way?

At least you can start to acknowledge you don’t know what you’re talking about.
