I was thinking the same thing since that’s what HE fans have said from the beginning.

And personally I value undead BE skins over this anyways. But that’s my personal preference in what I’m rooting for in customizations.

I don’t think anyone has said it’s confirmed, just that it’s very likely, and it still is, and we’ve been understandably excited over it.

There’s a clear difference between that, and saying it isn’t going to happen, which thankfully most Helfers have been pretty understanding about.

Y’know, there’d probably be more excitement about the blue eyes options if the anti crowd weren’t misappropriating it as a sign from the gods that high elves are “never” (that’s a big word in the corporate world) going to happen.

they already happened twice. if a high elf is what you want to be you are on the wrong faction karaatu

Quod erat demonstrandum.

Ah Playpen, we have done this before. My stance is my stance on the matter.

The question I have is, why are you so worried about people asking for High Elves on the Alliance to be playable?

You see, many of the very same arguments you use on a daily basis for reasons why they shouldn’t, can also be used for the reasons Blood Elves shouldn’t get Blue Eyes. You’ve brought up many times that there are only a few High Elves that even show up in BFA, yet no blue eyed Blood Elves had. Or that the Silver Covenant are just props which could also be said of Frosthands and Lanesh. Or how using lore from outdated expansions doesn’t reflect now, which once again
no Blue eyes Blood Elves too be seen.

You can express how you feel on the matters all you like, but just because somethings someone else propose as their request and provides reasons that don’t coincide with what your request are, doesn’t make those arguments weak.

Disagree as you feel, but don’t pretend like your request outweighs what others desire either.

That said, have your Blue eyes
I’ll still play the game either way. I just don’t have to agree with them just because you want them.

And if you’re upset about people posting on the forums requesting for the group of High Elves that we already have within the Alliance, then you have clicked on the wrong thread.

Adding High Elves to the Alliance playerbase to become playable is not going to hurt or effect your experience.

I understood that!

blue eyes are not a signifier or anything other than the magic a high elf is exposed to. the only reason you are against is because you believe maintaining that small difference is enough to give you a horde race. i mean you really have nothing if a damn eye glow is a MAJOR point of difference after all isnt it. you are so afraid of the weak ‘lore’ argument getting exposed. thats what this is all about

its not our fault you guys have so little to address the fact that high elves are already playable as blood elves

then youve been ignoring anti arguments this whole time. thankfully blizzard is aware of our concerns and agree maintaining faction sanctity and the recognition that blood elves arent just our high elves but WoWs take on traditional fantasy high elves

more options for blood elves will keep the hundreds of thousands of players that main a blood elf very happy and add more diversity among them. while possibly annoying tens of alliance players. not hundreds, tens

Hahaha, what is that? “The horde is waiting for you?” Yeah, considering you’ve been ignoring the pro’s arguments all the time.

Good for you if you want this. Thanks for proving your Horde Bias.

I’m seeing another Wall of No stance here, I dunno about you guys but it sounds very much like it. squints

I remember when players said “nu classic it will separate the player base and WoW can’t afford to lose any more players! Blizz knows this and they would never do that to us”

Sounds like they are concerned about “But Muh Horde will be seperated”

Way to be hostile about someone doing a fun editing dear lord. eyeroll

I mean I do agree that hypothetical high elves shouldn’t wear an edited BE heritage armor, but I don’t go crapping on every edit/artwork/concept I don’t like.

It is what they do best. Give me a few minutes, let me find Starla’s post of crapping on the pro’s artwork.

This is a dangerous game, soon enough everyone will be pulling up the questionable quotes of others. I’ll get my popcorn

I doubt anyone would even suggest this if it weren’t made clear from helfers to start with that they believed Blood Elves getting blue eyes was the end of the story.

Can’t you all just
 I don’t know
wait for later this month for them to be released before we all start fighting with no actual evidence. lol

By saying you can have them, I prove I am not afraid. I just don’t feel the need to go backwards with lore to justify their means of existing and you won’t change my mind on that.

If all you think the request is about is eyes from just speaking about one tweet, you’ve only proven that you have tunnel vision when it comes to discussion and don’t care about what else had been said. You simply don’t like something so you try desperately to brush it off as meaningless and make excuses for such things, only to use the same kinds of arguments to justify what you want and then it’s okay. There’s a big difference from saying something isn’t going to happen, then saying, right now it isn’t happening, but may change.
