High Elf Customizations for Void Elves

It’s shocking that the same people keep repeating the same mistaken notion about Blood Elves.

What about people who want more void option? Do we count? Blonde elf right there for crying out loud it is called blood elf.

Why can’t we get…both? Adding hair colors isn’t that hard.

White and black hair works for both Void and High Elf appearances  I think it’s the thing we need the most. I’m shocked we don’t have black or white hair colors right now.

I want to make a void-skinned white-haired Velf so badly.

Because your ask for blood elf skintans cost me more void option. Why we need 2 copy of blood elf? It upsets me.

No they didn’t?

Huh?

The Devs just added the new and old Belf skintones to Void Elfs, they didn’t even bother changing the underwear or nail colors.

The Void Elfs still haven’t gotten their Allied Race customization pass that they will be getting later on in Shadowlands.

Nothing has “cost” you anything.

Also what does that have to do with getting white and black hair colors.

why cant we just get a color wheel for hair color options, if clothing dye exists on azeroth so does hair dye, i get humans cant naturally grow purple or green hair like kaldorei but… they can dye it, i like how the dks look with their midnight blue hair. also the blue haired high elves always look amazing even though i know theyre blue dragons in mortal form

Yeah the technology really should be at the point that we can do this.

I understand they give us color swatches to fit in “lore” I guess but they could just give us modified color wheels in various shades to make our own shades of blue/green/purple for example.

They really didn’t bother much of anything for Blood Elves so excuse me if their delay on underwear and nail colors for Void Elves and their second visual theme isn’t something I feel pressed about.

Maybe, I guess we’ll see.

It could just be some jewelry options and nothing else.

But why Void Elves got more meaningful customization during core race customizations and then are also expected to have an individual pass during an assumed AR customization is beyond me. And then it begs the question if they get stuff during AR customizations to what theme do they get things.

I don’t know it’s all very wait and see at the moment but if Blood Elves get more meaningful customization during the assumed AR period I think it would be fitting all things considered.

That is consuming Fel. The crystals were charged with Fel energy and radiate all throughout Quel’thalas now. Elven bodies naturally absorb magical energies and it tampers with their physical and mental nature. It’s only a matter of time before most Blood Elves begin transforming much like the Fel Bloods did. Fel Bloods drank demon blood and sped up the process, but the same thing should technically happen to the Blood Elves, only slower.

The only Elves left will be the ones drawing on the Sunwell, which only exists thanks to the Alliance. Could tip a solid number of Blood Elves back into the fold, choosing to be High Elves again.

the thing is i dont think it would break immersion at all. we already have neon hair colored trolls gnomes and nelves… like that doesnt look out of place at all in the world (of warcraft) i think a cute human warrior girl with a short green pixie cut wouldnt take me out. theres already other outrageous aesthetically questionable things to look at. (your people. no hate!)

Is this the time of the day some HE fans don’t respect the devs and their stance and think they know better?

It’s tiring. We just got done celebrating their comments on having HE customization for both sides. So which is it we respect their stance on their own game or?

I think I’ll take Blizzards stance on Blood Elves over this personal take of yours.

True, and we already have very garish transmog options and literal fish-swords and Yeti-costumes with giant feet, so I think that line was crossed a long time ago.

No.

/10char.

was it ever revealed in the story what anduin sent alleria to lorthemar for? i mean as soon as i saw her during my nightborne recruitment unlock i immediately put 2+2 and was like… again? his dad tried this once before in mop iirc. even blizzard keeps pushing it in the story but have to backpedal and be like it makes sooo much sense that something has to sabotage it last minute (cough alleria, i laughed my A off when she ran away like you’ll never take me prisoner, pansies! going up the ramp fleeing then making a u-turn and running back our way like she took the wrong exit then i realized all the npcs were following the same weird path) im like girl you grew up here and you dont know where the fire exit is

Then you don’t know the how business works. You’re forgetting that writers come and go in that place and their work is constantly being written over and full of plot holes and inconsistencies that someone tries to write over later. Some of the novels kinda half count in the lore, while major chunks of story aren’t even in game. It’s a mess. So yeah, maybe it’s subject to suggestion based on their own lore, and maybe I don’t count on what the devs think because half of don’t get the lore that’s already been established.

If they had consistency and some better writers then this wouldn’t be a problem in first place. As it stands they’ve recycled plot after plot and still have the Elves written into a corner by being on a faction that they don’t belong on.

Indeed, not the only thing they recycled from MoP. Evil person takes over Horde and gets overthrown lol. As for Alleria trying to talk sense into her people, it was briefly mentioned in passing with a quick line of dialog which basically amounted to, “I tried but they didn’t listen” kinda thing. Blizz probably should have included it in the Void Elf story, but they got lazy. They need to learn the show don’t tell rule of writing.

This education on business is coming from the same person who doesn’t understand Blizzards explicit stance on BE’s despite it being very clear? Hmmm.

You’re speaking as a BE fan and Horde player I take it?

You’ve polled BE players? The masses are with you I take it? It’s some huge problem that has all BE players worked up… or is it another community and player group worked up about it?

We just want high elves, Blizzard. You know, one of the founding members of the Alliance. It’s all we’ve ever wanted. But for some reason that will eternally baffle me, you’ve refused to simply give them to us. So at least give us normal hair options for these void elves you invented. Alleria gets away with it. Why can’t we?

That is not consuming fel.

Yes fel radiation affected their eye color. It was not consumed.

Their bodies and mental nature were not affected by the Fel radiation. Blizzard confirmed this.

No. Consuming fel turns you into a felblood demon. This will not happen to blood elves in general.

This has no bearing on the conversation.

Yeah apparently they can only be NPC Alliance factions we have to grind rep for almost every expansion + in every single one of our capital cities and portal rooms + the NPC that takes us to our warfronts in BFA.

If Blizz wanted Alliance players to stop asking for High Elfs why do they keep shoving the NPC ones in our faces every expac? :stuck_out_tongue:

Heck they even filled the Void Elf starting zone with them.

And I care why? I think you’re forgetting that we’re paying customers and have a right to at least suggest or ask, especially when perfect opportunities are right there in the lore. They’ve laid the groundwork for it out over the years on so many occasions.

No, I can’t stand being on the Horde. I used to get Alliance priests to mind control Horde so I could kill them with my Elf character. Hell, once I get gear in the new expac, I might just get back to that since we’re stuck with these knockoffs right now.

And yes, the players have been polled to some extent. The fact that High Elves have been in demand since WoW began and it even came up on the Q&A for BFA. So yes, fans want High Elves.

Agreed
