High Elf Customizations for Void Elves

Pretty much this. Thank you.

And like I told you before, they’re not.

They gave a sneak peak to popular and requested customization because it’s just that: popular, and popularity creates hype.

You’re the one shifting it to having that mean that we want our things first before anyone else, got a news flash for you, we don’t.

But that’s exactly what you’re doing.

If it doesn’t bother you that core races come first, it shouldn’t bother you that I say that then, or you wouldn’t have brought it up when trying to paraphrase me poorly at that.

I’m not lying about anything, person who has admitted he has an axe to grind against me and stalks me.

The interview states they’re adding High Elf features so players can play what they want. These were added to Void Elves. Meaning, if you want to play a High Elf fantasy, you’re gonna have to do it through a Void Elf (Or a Blood Elf, whichever path you want to take.)

The thing you’re trying to pretend you’re pointing out is the fact that they said, “Some” options. Which, we’ve known since May…

and since you’re in a thread (and part of mutlple threads) that explicitly states that they’re about requesting High Elf hair colors for Void Elves, I’d have thought that you’d understand that there would be no reason to request a feature that they have already added or stated that they’re going to add…

What exactly do you think is happening here? Are you ok?

It doesn’t, but you’re lying.

Not only did you actually get stuff for blood elves, you outright want other people not to get theirs until they fix the stuff you already got and add more.

Because you didn’t like it? And it has absolutely nothing to do with us.

That’s the definition of spite kiddo. :face_with_hand_over_mouth::face_with_hand_over_mouth:

You keep telling me my stance and yet I’ve clarified, but most people understood it the first time I stated my opinion.

Thats a round about way of saying core races should come first which is what you have an issue with so I guess.

This thread is gonna need a /reset command.

And they did, we’ve seen all their customization, you just don’t like it.

But thanks for clarifying and agreeing that you’re not only selfish but are rallying against other people’s requests out of sheer spite.

(Commentary): In that case, Unit Exacitor would like to suggest new options for both Void Elves and Blood Elves in the future; hoods! Hoods are an iconic part of the Thalassian elf aesthetic. Sylvanas, Alleria, etc… They should either add a toggle for hoods to work with hairstyles, or add a few hairstyles with hoods. Also, different colors of hoods would be great, especially some designed to specifically match the Heritage Armors for Blood Elves and Void Elves.

I really want a void elf hair option that puts stars in their hair that would look so cool and help with the whole cosmic/ethereal theme.

The options are being given so that players can play out their RP fantasies. Isn’t it… I guess… petty and kinda mean to keep needling those people that are finally going to be able to play out those RP fantasies with comments like “you’re not a High Elf you’re a VOID elf!” (not saying you specifically are doing this, just people have said this in general).

I will agree that the title of this thread was worded poorly though.

And Blood Elves should get mana light hair as well, opening up VE hairstyles to BEs which should be done anyways because they got the entirety of BE skin tones.

I agree! We need Hoods! Not the kind the Scarlet Crusade wear either. The mysterious kind.

Hey, what?

I’d say make a vendor with different hoods with the Blood/Void elf only attached to it, more options more fun!

I was just about to go but Hello Starla! Hope all is well still!

I’m excited for you and others to be able to use blue eyes on Blood Elves though I wasn’t a fan of it in the past it does seem so small a conciliation in retrospect or hindsight mmm not sure which one fits here.

We can’t discuss Void Elves / High elves getting hair color options because it’s really important that the people who demanded we never get playable High Elves during BFA suggest that any recommendations for additional customization options wait until some other, seperate race gets whatever they want…

and also reminds us, ignoring comments from Blizzard Developers stating the contrary, that you can’t play a High Elf even though the skins added to the game were so that you could play a High Elf.

Also, finally, remember, that said interview explicitly states they have only added some customizations for now which we’ve all been aware of since The day they announced the skin colors.

If Blizzard decides to take the super low effort/lazy route and just copy/paste Blood Elf hairstyles and colors to Void Elves, then I’d like to see Blood Elves get de-tentacled versions of Void Elf hairstyles in return. Sharing is caring after all.

While “compensation” is not a word I find appropriate in these discussions, I do feel that Blood Elves should get a “second theme” via the Darkfallen aesthetics. Not because Void Elves are getting a “second theme” through High Elf aesthetics, but simply because it’s an oft requested option, requires very little in the way of effort on Blizzard’s part, and there’s really no reason not to give it to them (and I also want them for my own Blood Elves).

I also have no objection to other options asked for by Blood Elf players such as light-themed aesthetics.
