Hoods were quite complicated to implement in Star Wars the Old Republic, so perhaps we know not what we ask.
That’s asking for a lot of effort though. From Blizz I mean. We still don’t even have Void Elf underwear on our skin models.

I could imagine if Void elves got lighter colors it’s possible we’d be able to tell the difference between void and blood elves by giving al the hair options dark streaks and tentacles.
That might make enough of a difference.

(Commentary): Unit Exacitor was thinking of making them either as part of several new hairstyles (such as the Crown hairstyle Blood Elves are getting), or as a toggle option like vines for Night Elves or flowers for Tauren. The latter may be too tricky as it would require making every hairstyle work with a hood.

It’s actually not asking for much at all! 
Thanks to Talendrion we now know that the tentacles are not actually part of the Void Elf hair models and their removal does not leave any holes or gaps! So Blizzard could easily give Blood Elves de-tentacled Void Elf hair if they wanted to, with very little effort required!

Making it a hairstyle is an interesting idea, I guess with the colors it would kind of work but could have a lot of issues with helmets/shoulder armor, capes, etc.
Feel like it’s not coincidence that after months of not seeing Callistus, suddenly you also rear your head again as well.
Just an observation.

Alternatively we could also get forhead accessories as well, of gems that represent different magic types, obviously the VE versions would have less then the BE versions of magic types.
Or maybe facial runes that glows with magic too!

They always come flooding in when I show up. But Tarrok explicitly stated about talking about me in Discord in the past. So… Not really a coincidence. It happens whenever I post.
