I’ve always thought that was kinda a lame reasoning? I figured they could have made more of an attempt, like having Tyrande actually act on that viewpoint and do some harm to them?
Now finding kinship with the Blood Elves on its own, for me, is enough for them to have chosen the Horde over the Alliance though. So I live with it.
It’s just stupid writing at Blizzard’s end. They also tried to gaslight the people into hating each other with the Stormsong raid and the Voldun Vulpera accident during BfA. It’s ridiculous.
This one is even more annoying when you find out it was originally written to have the Quillboar be doing the Attack which makes the whole darn thing make soo much more sense.
I agree. While I am in favor of setting aside the differences, the way it is currently being handled in WoW feels just as forced as Tyrande’s transformation after Warcraft III. The latest example, of course, is the new village of the Night Elves being neutral. It’s just questionable when you invite the murderers of your own family into the living room and then have a coffee chat with them amidst the swirling souls of the victims. 
I absolutely love the suggested customizations in this thread, even if some trolls seem to want to wrongfully flag it.
With the tentacle toggle option, I look forward to what they’ll add. There’s no need to even limit things to “high elf” or “void elf” customizations. An amazing quel’dorei style hair can look perfect for the ren’dorei with the toggle effect, and vice versa. Same with tattoos having different colors. Customization adds so much to the game, Blizzard needs to go all in, and I’m still annoyed that they haven’t given void elves a single new hairstyle since they were introduced.

Absolutely! Many many of the options for both High and Void Elf requests would easily be interchangeable especially if Blizzard makes sure to do new hairstyles with either braid options, or just setting tentacles as their own thing that doesn’t cause holes.
It can only help both camps to have more options!

Aye it would. Especially since I just added in some recent jewelry metal and jewel color options Ramavatarama made… they’re technically for Void Elves but I figure they’d work well for High Elves too especially if its just added to void elves in the first place.
If they do get their own AR I suspect they’d have slightly differing jewelry.

Omg those last ones… The tattoo, the jewelry, the hair style… ugh! I’d love it for this character!
Right!! Modular braids add SO much to all hairstyles and the jewelry and tats just makes them feel like a complete race! I am longing for the day when Void Elves get a proper pass like the other races. They are now one of the only races/Allied races in the game that still have not gotten a single new hairstyle since they released! 
Just want to remind you all that we didn’t get Helves because their population was too small. So instead we got a race that’s the population of some dude’s after school occult club.
