Dude. Alliance has castles/horses/elves living in trees/gnomes/dwarves (who have been known for steampunk aesthetic) across so many fantasy genres the Alliance were your typical stuff.

It makes sense for Night Elves to be Horde indeed. Especially with their radical mindset and brutal savagery.
They would also not need to be nerfed as Malfurion would be a nice counter to Jaina and the faction’s technological advantage (Lightforged Draenei and their Vindicaar).
And yes, Malfurion was nerfed. Reading the books, the guy is a scary powerhouse that in game has not shown enough.

The Alliance Garrison is a lie. The whole point isn’t to get a bigger castle.

They weren’t real thrilled about the Horde showing up on Kalimdor. Well. The Tauren were already there. But the others…

I can see this happening. Because we have to realize that small minor add for void elf customization wasn’t really a major customization that allied race was getting. So I don’t want to say that we aren’t getting anything after the hair colors. It wouldn’t make sense that we aren’t getting hairstyles at all.

Contribute in a small part to my feeling completely disrespected as a customer by the devs that lessens my interest in the game yes.
Why did people being allowed to have the distinct race (like all other races not introduced as neutral were) ruin your experience and game play?

I meant without this stuff happening. Mostly like how weird it was that the Night Elves and Dwarves were spying the Blood Elves and pushing them to the Horde.
Just meaning thematically, it would’ve been easy. Tyrande was leader of the Night Elves, she treated Broxigar with respect. Would’ve been as simple as Orcs arriving and ending up working together to fight the Legion to make a connection.
After all in the books Broxigar had his jaw open when he saw Ravencrest fighting and said he fought like an Orc. A mutual respect would’ve been made quite fast between both warrior races.
Let alone with a powerhouse like Malfurion showing, well, power, which Orcs likely would respect.
I’m with you. Let’s go back to the World of Warcraft. Phase the old content and put down some new stuff. Especially since we’re looking the other way right now. Stuck in Shadowlands.

The Blood Elves are largely coerced into joining the Horde. They don’t want to get eaten by the Undead so they team up with the Forsaken. Then the Forsaken order them to send Blood Knights to help the Horde out. Lor’themar wasn’t real thrilled about that.
In Mists of Panderia they’re working on rejoining the Alliance.
The Nightborne are probably the thing that will change things? They at least have some allies now. Before they were going it alone.

You mean on RP servers or in general? Cause I think you’re making a mistake if you assume non-RPers are as crazy about High Elves as RPers.

I don’t play on an RP realm and since SL launched (which I played up till last month), I saw far more Void Elves utilizing the High Elf skin tones.

I’ve genuinely never seen anyone on the servers I play on even just talk about High Elves at all. Neither on Horde nor on Alliance. So I’m wondering if you are talking about the entirety of the playerbase or only RPers.
Well yea of course, cause they didn’t exist for Void Elves before. I’m still not sure that indicates fewer people like voidy Void Elves outside of RP realms because whenever new customization options are added they’re like the shiny new toy.
