Void Elves received normal skin tones with the release of Shadowlands… and hopefully in a few weeks natural hair colors will roll onto the regular build. When these customization options were added Blizzards Art Director stated in a WoWhead interview:
Because players of the Alliance have wanted to be able to play High Elves since vanilla came out, there are some customization features that would help us have a more authentic experience:
Customization Options that would be nice:
More Hairstyles. The inclusion of a tentacle toggle is very helpful in diversifying High Elf characters, but Void Elves use hair product very differently from High Elves. It would be nice if we could have some additional hair styles that were slightly less… gothic? vampire chic? Warhammer Dark Elf?
Tattoos: Warcraft 2 Elves and Alleria, being said warcraft 2 elves have tattoos that would be a nice customization feature. Honestly, these can double as customizations for Void Elves. Alleria is their leader kind of.
The more unlikely stuff that we would genuinely enjoy:
A glyph or toggle or customization for Entropic Embrace.
A toggle to set our race name as High Elf or Void Elf. All the other customizable races are known by things like, “Troll.” or “Orc.” or “Dwarf.” and so Void Elf is the only race that is quite a bit more nebulous.
Also very unlikely customization options:
a voice toggle of a different set of /silly and /flirt jokes that aren’t quite so… voidy in nature. This one isn’t really a big deal. You can not type /silly or /flirt.
Also, there have been in game High Elf Paladin’s. It would be nice to be able to play one. There is also an in game Night Elf Paladin and Kul’Tirans so obviously this is a big ask as well.
But it would be a nice feature for the race we’ve always wanted to play.
How many threads are ya’ll gonna make? Jesus this is why I quit the forums, sick of the high elf threads. Just say you want blood elves copy and pasted and move on. It’s annoying.
Then learn self control. Stop being greedy and irritating. And maybe show a little of the dignity and composure your unplayable race possesses, that’d make you more like them than any physical features.
It DOES make sense to not ask for things. You’ve just gotten a HOST of things. VOID ELVES have easily received well and above a list of other races. Stop. Being. Greedy. Be thankful for what you’ve been given, and move on. Come back after everyone else has had an equal share.
Why shouldn’t people ask for more? Especially if Blizzard delivers. Heck, it would be a pretty awesome tool if we got a toggle that allowed say a human to have a "Stomwind human, Lordearon human, Dalaran human, Theramore human etc)
The orcs can finally have a way to say “Dragonmaw orc, Blackrock orc, Warsong orc, etc”
So far the Void Elves nearly have everything in High Elf Customization Options all except for Hairstyles, Tattoos, Feather Jewelry, and maybe something like some more Eye Color like Brown or Green but I know Green won’t happen due to Blood Elves.
But yea for Hairstyles I hope we see something like from the Legend of Zelda, League of Legends Hairstyles, Elder Scrolls High Elf Hairstyles, and etc that is mix of wood elf, High elf, and Half Elf hairstyles or just hairstyles that is good too look have.
But I think after that. It’s pretty much Void Customization Options for now on. Unless of course I go for the request of Void Elf Paladins or big one Druids for them.
